We took an hour trip to Mr Chen’s house which was a nice area in the suburbs in a gated community. We were beckoned into the house and were (I think) introduced to Mr Chens son, and two of his friends, one of whom spoke excellent English, which was awesome. Today we went to the Summer Palace. It is a 740 acre site built in the 1700’s. Empress Cixi built the majority of the sight as a summer retreat. Inside was the largest Buddha statue we’ve seen in a while. It was even bigger than the one in Tao in Las Vegas! Sorry for the short post. its been a long week. Feed You can leave a response.
