It is said that only 99% of the people in the world truly achieve what they wished for and the rest, sulks and whine and then fails. But, I now know how hard it is to achieve one’s dream. Not because the lack of trying, nor the skills or effort required to do so but the condition and responsibility the society or life itself have imposed upon us, unknowingly even. I think I’m blabbering this blog of mine away. Despite my skillfullness in keeping emotions within, it feels like this time im gonna...When th...

The Ladder of Life. I believe life must always be forward looking. But as we look back in our past, there are things to gain as well. There were once a couple who lived on the 80th floor of a building. They went camping one day and came back only to realize that the building is having an electric shortage and the lifts are not working. Although they are carrying a huge backpack, they are sweating all over and needed a shower so they decided that they will take the stair back home. They argued as they cli...

Crossroad of Destiny: February 2012

As a mythical creature of unmatched power, many believe this year brings great promises. If you are a traditional Chinese believer, this is not a good year for me as I too was born in the year of the Dragon. I for one believe no such thing. Entering into a relationship? Or will I find a new flame and the will spark a new dream for me? I can only hope for an experience as confounding and enlightening as before but just a little less dangerous, for who knows if I would wake up again, huh? Piece of my mind.

Fading Dreams or Melding Reality? Is it that dreams are fading away, or reality taking over? Everyone had a childhood dream. Me, many. But as we grow, these dream becomes smaller, or shall i say more 'practical'. From a being a superhero saving the world, to hero of your own world saving yourself; From a doctor saving millions of lives, to a doctor making end meets. As we grow physically, our dreams shrinks proportionally. Is that what life is all about? Should i have learned at all? Piece of my mind.

Crossroad of Destiny: Greedy Gekko
http://crossroadofdestiny.blogspot.com/2012/12/greedy-gekko.html
Humans, are extremely adaptive beings. Just think about the fact that we are the product of evolution from centuries ago and you’d understand that how strong we are, and how strong we can become. But evolution is a deceptively dangerous process. Cause once adapted, it is close to impossible to un-adept. Hence, choose what you want to adapt to carefully. Recalling one of my favorite quotes: "Greed, for a lack of better word, is good. Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, ...Colleague...

How far is this statement true? A short video I found rather interesting. Http:/ www.ted.com/talks/larry smith why you will fail to have a great career.html? Sorry for the link, can’t seem to post the video on blogspot directly. Anyway, of what he said I would agree on many of its point and disagree on a few. It is true that “interest” is not anywhere nearly comparable to “passion But can one not have more than a single passion? Why you may ask? So if you do, shame on you for not pursuing you passion!
