This is a blog for our family and friends. Sunday, August 31, 2008. The Czech Republic is such a beautiful country. The countryside is pristine and I think it was more beautiful than any other place we saw, with Austria coming really close behind! Anyway, we kept finding cool places to see in the Czech Republic. We stopped in the town of after we left church on Sunday. It was a tiny town, but had a really cute town square, and some good gelato (yes, gelato is everywhere in Europe, not just in Italy.).

This is a blog for our family and friends. Thursday, July 24, 2008. What a surprise we had when we first entered the public restrooms! We enjoyed the market in the center of the old town with its antiques and old crafts. Our favorite was the copper alley. I ended up buying a beautiful copper pot for m. Y kitchen. The girls bought some leather and wooden shoes from a cute little man who spoke no English at all. He taught us the word for thank you, “Fallah.”. Muslim call for prayer. On our way out of town,.

So, after my conference we took a tour of the city. It was COLD! Here is Denise in the Gran Place at night. What good luck did he have? And last of all, here I am high-fiving my old buddy...

This is a blog for our family and friends. Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Peter forgot to add one of the most interesting 30 seconds of our trip to Bari. They call it the Monkey train.Da da da Daa! Notice the little baby monkey hanging onto his mother? Oh, how cute! And there's this monkey next to Nicole that actually gets his whole arm through a little hole in the back. Sorry the video is so spastic, but it reflects the general atmosphere of the ride! Posted by mccollaum fam. That looks like a lot of fun!
