Turning, Turning

A Time of Transition. March 22, 2014. There’s a phrase I’ve started hearing around New York Yearly Meeting (the body of Quakers in New York, New Jersey, and part of Connecticut). Again and again, from young and old, universalist and Christocentric, activist and contemplative, experienced and just exploring: It feels to me like we’re in a time of transition. Some people say this in an attitude of hope, like they’re disappointed in the current state of affairs and looking forward to things being rectified.
