Young Eagles Signup Site. The young Eagles program was started in 1992 by the Experimental Aircraft Association. It was started so kids between the ages of 8 and 17 could have the opportunity to experience what it's like to fly in a small airplane. Since it began almost 2,000,000 young people have flown with us. The experience is educational, fun and completely free of charge. We fly once a month, usually on the second Saturday, weather permitting.
