Wednesday, May 18, 2011. The day has ended. I went and saw the Doc today, almost a month after the surgery. He likes what he is seeing and hearing (hearing from me and my body) so I'm feel pretty good about things. I'm not as far along as I would like but i am ahead of the curve as far as HE is concerned and obviously THAT is what matters. Wednesday, December 17, 2014. 8 Days and Counting. Amputated leg update here. We have now been in the hospital for over 8 days working on Day #9. These have not been easy days.NO, not by a long shot. I have had 3 surgeries in that time period. The pain has been incredible. I am not in a position to go on and on.it hurts too much to write. Sorry I cannot hang around longer but I am played out.
