The Odd Couple Eats: June 2011
http://oddcoupleeats.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
June 29, 2011. Recipe - Crispy Tempeh with Lemony Mushroom Gravy and Mashed Potatoes. I will always remember this funny story a former co-worker of mine told me about her daughter: they were walking through the grocery store and my co-worker asked her daughter what she wanted for dinner. She was hoping for an answer like "frozen pizza" or something easy as it had been a long day. Instead, the little girl said, "I want chicken, couscous, and salad! I first tried this recipe. Maybe we'll do delivery tonight.

Adventures of a stranded business traveler....: May 2011

Adventures of a stranded business traveler. I'm stuck in the airport with horror movie quality storms crashing down outside, my flight has been delayed from 7:40 pm to 11:55 pm, so I figured this would be a good time to start a blog. Why not? Sunday, May 1, 2011. Updated with more pictures on May 5, 2011. Yesterday Sofia and I had quite the adventure. Maybe it was more like an odyssey. We walked all over SoHo. Since the hat shops didn't open until noon I convinced Sofia to nip down to Broome Street to "j...

Karhukirjeitä Kanadasta: maaliskuuta 2010
http://kanadasta.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tiistai 23. maaliskuuta 2010. Avasin tuossa rankan päivän (8-22) päälle yhden oluen ja innostuinkin sitten oikein kirjoittelemaan iltapuhteeksi hieman totuuksia kankkujen tenuiluista:. Alkool on täällä kaupasta ostettuna Suomea kalliimpaa. 10 e sixpäkistä? Provinssin hallitus siis isännöi alkoholin myyntiä ja vetää välistä semmoset verot joiden edessä Vanhasen raittiusaate kalpenee kerrasta. 3 $ viinipullo maksaa verojen kanssa 10 $! Provinssilla on nollatoleranssi kannabikselle mutta ainakin paikalliste...

Staceface always wants to smile and so do my animal friends! Red Bamboo, Vegan Soul Cafe. February 10, 2012. So, it was my 2nd time eating at Red Bamboo. I went here before I became a vegetarian and tasted my first fake meat. (I thought it was great! It was very different to visit here again after becoming a vegetarian because I became more appreciative of the food (fake meat) I was eating. And also tasted better! I love this place because 1) close to NYU campus 2) so many varieties! I got Cashew Chicken.

La Tête de Légumes. La Tête de Légumes. Dear food, I love you. August 23, 2013. Sometimes it’s still unreal to me that I live in New York and that I commute on the same train that Jay Z once did (favorite fun fact). I get to cross the Williamsburg Bridge via train and see that famous skyline daily, and then walk around the Village on my way to work. Sometimes I even hang out on friends’ rooftops and hear the not-so-distant rumble of the train. Pretty dreamy! We went there for burgers and burgers we had!
