Birds - Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography

http://www.quantumtiger.org/image/baby-wagtail.htm

An inquisative juvenile wagtail (pied I think? There were two grey wagtails by the river who waited patiently for me to stop, change lenses and mount my camera on the monopod before flying off. This chap, however, was not so rude. He was quite intrigued by me and let me get fairly close. This image has received 1 vote. Vote for this image. Canon EOS 20D. 1/500s. f/5.6. ISO400. Focal length 400mm. Picture 91 of 123. 169;2004-13 QuantumTiger.org -. Landscape and Wildlife Photography.

Zoo Tigers - Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography

http://www.quantumtiger.org/image/siberian-tiger.htm

Zoo Tigers (and other Animals). Ingrid, a female Siberian tiger, at Port Lympne wild animal park, enjoys a spot of lunch. She was quite a messy eater. I don't think she liked the sound of my camera, because after I'd taken a few shots she dragged her meat off to somewhere a little more private to conclude her snack. This image has received 2 votes. Vote for this image. Canon EOS 20D. 1/320s. f/2.8. ISO800. Focal length 200mm. Picture 2 of 14. 169;2004-13 QuantumTiger.org -.

Birds - Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography

http://www.quantumtiger.org/image/kestrel-3.htm

After weeks of stalking a kestrel in bushy park and getting nothing of note, this was a chance encounter just behind Littlehampton beach, with a very cooperative bird, who waited patiently whilst I changed lenses and then came into the hover right in front of me. Taken with a 400mm lense and 1.4x teleconverter. This image has received 10 votes. Vote for this image. Canon EOS 20D. 1/640s. f/5.6. ISO400. Focal length 400mm. Picture 32 of 123. 169;2004-13 QuantumTiger.org -.

Zoo Tigers - Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography

http://www.quantumtiger.org/image/siberian-tiger-2.htm

Zoo Tigers (and other Animals). Gentoo Penguin and Chick. Tugar a male Siberian tiger, at Port Lympne wild animal park spent most of the day asleep as far as I could see. By mid afternoon I'd just about given up on getting a nice portrait of him when he woke up and started taking an interest in the world. This image has received 9 votes. Vote for this image. Canon EOS 20D. 1/250s. f/2.8. ISO800. Focal length 200mm. Picture 3 of 14. 169;2004-13 QuantumTiger.org -. Landscape and Wildlife Photography.

Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography: Urban Graffiti III

http://quantumtiger.blogspot.com/2012/01/urban-graffiti-iii.html

Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography. Friday, 27 January 2012. Carrying on my series of photos on Urban Graffiti. Because I had yet another wildlife walk with no wildlife! Here is one from today. Okay - the walk wasn't entirely without wildlife. I saw a sparrowhawk in the distance and various small birds. But nothing is being very cooperative at present! Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography: April 2012

http://quantumtiger.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography. Sunday, 15 April 2012. Last week I undertook what is becoming a near-annual pilgrimage to the cliffs at Bempton. To visit the seabird colony there. This year the wind was blowing stiffly off the land and pushing most of the smaller birds far out to sea - so we saw a mere handful of razorbills, guillemots and puffins. But the Gannets were out in force and the light was perfect. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe in a reader. See more images from the Quantum Tiger.

Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography: Spring is springing

http://quantumtiger.blogspot.com/2012/03/spring-is-springing.html

Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography. Friday, 30 March 2012. I can't believe that it is nearly April and I have only posted three entries this year so far! Life is good, but busy for various reasons, and leaving little time to get out with my camera. To make matters worse my local park had a pollution event last year which has killed all the fish in the river and driven away a lot of the wildlife. No kingfishers this year I fear. 30 March 2012 at 17:20. Thats a beautiful small bird! 31 March 2012 at 10:29.

Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography: Stags in a row

http://quantumtiger.blogspot.com/2012/02/stags-in-row.html

Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography. Sunday, 19 February 2012. Stags in a row. Another weekend without any photography. So instead here is a shot from a couple of weeks back. 20 February 2012 at 22:37. I quite like it just as you took it. It could be if you had gone for the middle one, that the one in the front may not have shown out so regal as it does and he is quite the handsome one. 21 February 2012 at 02:29. 22 February 2012 at 11:34. Beautiful photograph.Nice blog. 22 February 2012 at 21:32.

Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography: October 2011

http://quantumtiger.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography. Friday, 28 October 2011. This weekend I was supposed to be meeting up with friends to walk in the colours of Forest of Dean, but my car had other ideas. So instead I walked my local patch, on what was a stunning autumn day. The kingfishers were out in force - but as ever too skittish for photos. I think I may have found the nest site though - so next spring with a hide, just maybe! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe in a reader. See more images from the Quantum Tiger.

Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography

Quantum Tiger Wildlife Photography. Tuesday, 4 June 2013. It's been a long while since I last posted. Various life changes have meant less time for keeping blogs up to date. But I've not stopped taking photos. Here is one of many from the backlog! I particularly like this one as it features a familiar creature in a not so familiar setting. I fell in love with the sea holly at Yarmouth, and this bumble bee gave a splendid photo opportunity! Sunday, 15 April 2012. Friday, 30 March 2012. But things are look...

The Quantum Times

Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Once upon a time. All over our planet, various ancient civilizations from our known past tell a common tale that has been captured on clay, stone and various paper types and in some cases, even leather parchments. Some of it was just drawn on cave walls when paper was not en vogue. A very long way away from Earth, there live a race of human like beings on a planet that orbits around a star we call Sirius C, whom select past civilizations here on earth referred to as "the gods".
