Quarter life

Saturday, December 12, 2009. The most powerful poem I have yet to read. Out of the night that covers me,. Black as the Pit from pole to pole,. I thank whatever gods may be. For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstance. I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance. My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears. Looms but the Horror of the shade,. And yet the menace of the years. Finds, and shall find, me unafraid. I am the master of my fate:.

Quarter life: October 2009

http://quarterlifeinvan.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 11, 2009. I also notice the dualistic nature of our world. Without negative there is no positive; we are either with or without. And that because of the very dynamic, changing nauture of the world, one moment we can be with and the next. without. Do we only learn gratitude for things in our lives if we have once lost them? Meaning we were once with and now we are without. Without this dualistic nature, there is no change, no reflection, no gratitude. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Quarter life: I can't wait to be 60 and retire, travel.... and have babies??

http://quarterlifeinvan.blogspot.com/2009/02/i-cant-wait-to-be-60-and-retire-travel.html

Saturday, February 21, 2009. I can't wait to be 60 and retire, travel. and have babies? But thats beside the point. The other controversial arm in this debate, is the fact that Canadian tax payers are paying for the after care of a patient who payed for initial treatment out of country - a treatment that is not legal in this country as the cut-off age of IVF in Canada is between 45-50 years of age. Quarter Life Freak Out | Panic at 27

Quarter Life Freak Out. Incremental Progress or Extended Metaphor. September 7, 2011. 8220;Progress is incremental.”. That sort of became my mantra at the beginning of summer, and it’s something I keep coming back to over and over. I don’t have to change everything at once, as much as I’d love to. That just leads to more failed attempts at change. That was the pride before the fall. So I’m taking it one apple at a time. I needed to be started in first gear, though. Spend time in first, second, third,...

QuarterLife Girl Gets Fit! | “Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.”

QuarterLife Girl Gets Fit! Beck Diet – Success Skills Tracking. Today’s rant: why am I not losing weight? On: March 17, 2010. That title is a little deceptive. I have been losing weight, albeit slowly. Here’s the thing: I’m in my second month of P90X, and I haven’t even hit the 5lb weight loss mark yet. I’m not blaming the program by any means….I know it’s all about what I’m eating….but, really? On top of that, I’m STILL not below the BF’s weight! 1 I feel thinner! 3 The flexibility I’ve gained is ...

Quarter Life Idiot – The diary and dirty details of the laughable everyday life for an idiot in a never ending quarter life crisis.

The diary and dirty details of the laughable everyday life for an idiot in a never ending quarter life crisis. 8216;You’re too fit for me’. December 2, 2016. December 2, 2016. 21st Birthday and nakedness. March 31, 2016. So now apparently I have joined the ranks of proper grown ups, and have reached an age where people are usually regarded as responsible, must try my very hardest now I guess. Tuesday, August 15, 2006. Cogito ergo sum, maybe, but not Cogito ergo sunt. Which is to say, many think that given the vastness of the universe, there must be other forms of life (ala Drake's Equation. But the fact we exist is totally insufficient to assume any other life exists. It's like winning the Powerball lottery and then assuming a bunch of other people must have won it, too. Think about that. Posted by Found on Craigslist at 10:10 AM. Wednesday, July 26, 2006. Meta Idea of the Day: The Voice Mail.
