Lifestyle, Travel and Mommyhood. At the age of 24, I was graduating with my Masters in Social Work, unemployed and had recently found out I was pregnant with my first child, ALL WITHIN A MONTH! Now at 26, I am a licensed social worker in the State of Maryland and proud mommy of a bubbly 6 month old brown boy. Quarter-Life Mama is my personal journey as a 20-something mom and girlfriend trying to figure out life amidst my quarter-life crisis. Meeting new people and helping others are truly my passions.

Lifestyle, Travel and Mommyhood. VLP-Day 6: Eating Out Ain’t That Bad. March 21, 2014. And I’m almost 1 week vegan. I’m still trying to add mushrooms to my palette. Maybe if these were cut up I could’ve siked myself out but they looked too much like Smurf homes for me to eat. Poor little Smurfs. Dinner was some of the leftover string beans and rice. So delicious almond milk ice cream. So delicious coconut milk yogurt. I even picked up a few extra items not listed. Biased guide to living in NYC. August 23, 2006. S steamed buns are near perfection. Berkshire pork, scallions and a little of Momofuku's secret sauce on a delectable soft steamed bun are one of most satisfying snacks NYC has to offer. Momofuku Noodle Bar, which was the first restaurant reviewed on Quarter Life Living now has a younger sister. Momofuku Ssam Bar. The space is significantly larger.
