About a year and a half ago, a close friend of mine was diagnosed with breast cancer. She spent most of last year being treated, and since then she's been in remission. Great, right? But as anyone who's familiar with cancer knows, once you've had it once the rest of your life is just a waiting game. Tomorrow, she goes into surgery relating to a possible secondary cancer.
