More Room Updates and Storage Ideas. Day 2 in my classroom! Today was not a very glamorous day. It was moving desks, wiping desks, and organizing books. I also put away my centers from the end of the year and got out the beginning of the year centers. I put each center into a ziplock bag and then they go into a hanging file folder for what month they apply to. I have through Christmas taken care of. And ALL of 1st grade! In fact I bought a ton of 1/2 binders to house the rest of my Busy Teachers in today!

Queen of the Flies. Monday, April 27, 2015. Chloe's dress was a very special birthday present. I showed her many pink fabrics, but she was instantly smitten with this ballet pink silk georgette. She has excellent taste! At 13, Chloe was tired of puffy skirts and asked for something more sophisticated, but her mother didn't like what they saw in stores. We chose a simple fit and flare silhouette with a full skirt. Mom and Chloe were equally pleased. A tiny navy bow at the waist is a timeless color pairing.
