Quote of the Week 1/5/14 | Queen of the Food Age
https://queenofthefoodage.wordpress.com/2014/01/06/quote-of-the-week-1514
Exploring The World One Bite At A Time…. Queen of the Food Age. Quote of the Week 1/5/14. My resolution is to be more diligent with updating my blog. It fell off a little bit there at the end of 2013, but I won’t let that trend continue this year! I’ve got a good number of restaurants that I need to write reviews for, AND I’m going to be hosting a special giveaway this week, so be on the look out! I love the way that man thinks. Exploring The World One Bite At A Time…. Queen of the Food Age. Quote of the Week 12/9/13. How’s everyone doing? I just got back from an AMAZING weekend in NYC with one of my very bestest friends, Christine. I ate some delicious pizza and possibly the best Italian food I’ve ever had in my life. Plus, we got to see Big Fish on Broadway with Naomi, which was spectacular AND get drunch (and then drunk) with Tommy. And did I mention that we did all of that in basically 36 hours? Quote of the Week 12/2/13.

Tasty Tuesday–Chocolate Pumpkin filled cupcakes | beccslifeforum
https://beccslifeforum.wordpress.com/2013/10/29/tasty-tuesday-chocolate-pumpkin-filled-cupcakes
A little bit of everything. Tasty Tuesday–Chocolate Pumpkin filled cupcakes. It’s been a rough year! 😉 Besides it doesn’t take away from the yumminess and you’re always welcome to make the cupcakes from scratch because that too is easy just not super fast. My pumpkin was homemade… Does that count? A box of chocolate cake mix (I use sugar free). A can of pumpkin. Small can of evaporative milk. Pumpkin spice or cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Give them a try and let me know! Happy Tuesday–be kind. I’m ...

Charleston Daily Photo: Looks like they recycle
http://charlestondailyphoto.blogspot.com/2015/05/looks-like-they-recycle.html
8220;It was many and many a year ago, in a kingdom by the sea." Edgar Allan Poe. Looks like they recycle. I liked the contrast of the blue recycling bins in front of the door. The building is behind Memminger School on Beaufain St. so I imagine the bins are from the school since it doesn't look like anyone lives in this building. I'd love to see it fixed up but it has been abandoned as long as I can remember. It's been a full day. What a fabulous building to renovate! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

8220;It was many and many a year ago, in a kingdom by the sea." Edgar Allan Poe. Colonial Lake renovations, Rutledge Ave., Charleston, SC. Colonial Lake renovations, Charleston, SC. I am sure it will be beautiful but I am missing the lake (and my secret parking spots) during the renovation period. It will be nice to have it back new and improved. The excited buzz in South Carolina today is about Volvo's announcement. That we have been selected for their first US factory. Woohoo! Am I a complete wimp?

8220;It was many and many a year ago, in a kingdom by the sea." Edgar Allan Poe. Teeny, tiny houses of the lowcountry. Tiny cottage, Bluffton, SC. This one is a cutie to add to our collection of teeny, tiny houses. I spotted it behind an impressive mansion in Bluffton. I spotted a steam of maids going in to clean the main house but it wouldn't take much to keep this little sweetie in order. I am fat and full after a giant Fish Pie at Madra Rua. And I have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. Joan's Lowcount...

8220;It was many and many a year ago, in a kingdom by the sea." Edgar Allan Poe. George St., Charleston, SC. The College of Charleston has such a pretty campus. On Mother's Day this is where graduation is held with the gentlemen wearing white suits and the ladies wearing white dresses and carrying red roses. Tradition. I am loving the late light. I worked late this evening and still had time to march around the neighborhood before dark. I've been watching Grace and Frankie. I am late to the game! I notic...

It isn't Sunday morning but today's featured church is a birdhouse up the coast in Georgetown, SC. You should hear the chorus! Church photo in lieu of attendance. Quite a lofty perch for the birds! It is, and it seems to be used. Thought is was a mailbox for air mail. HahahI have seen those! Laughing at chuckographys comment. Tribute to my Nana.

8220;It was many and many a year ago, in a kingdom by the sea." Edgar Allan Poe. Zoom, zoom, zoom! South Battery, Charleston, SC. Zoom, zoom, zoom! Isn't this a cutie? I parked on the Battery and walked the lower peninsula yesterday morning. It was a glorious Charleston morning. The oleanders are in bloom and the sky was dramatic. I reached for my heavy camera and kicked myself when I discovered I had left the battery charging. I never do that! The favorite of French students everywhere! We're Good ...

8220;It was many and many a year ago, in a kingdom by the sea." Edgar Allan Poe. Stamp collection, Charleston, SC. I was cramming a few books into a bookshelf today and came across one of my old stamp albums. Does anyone collect stamps anymore? My grandfather liked the fact that I was interested and sent me some of his old collection of British, Canadian and South African stamps. I have some of the silk and 3D stamps from Bhutan. Queen of the Flies
Queen of the Flies. Monday, April 27, 2015. Chloe's dress was a very special birthday present. I showed her many pink fabrics, but she was instantly smitten with this ballet pink silk georgette. She has excellent taste! At 13, Chloe was tired of puffy skirts and asked for something more sophisticated, but her mother didn't like what they saw in stores. We chose a simple fit and flare silhouette with a full skirt. Mom and Chloe were equally pleased. A tiny navy bow at the waist is a timeless color pairing.
