Queen's Castle - Sunsetter Awning

Patio and Front Entry. We've had the awning a year now and I'm still loving it. It does everything the TV ad says it does. We got the model with the lights attached and it's really pretty at night. I love our new patio but it was getting rather warm out there and the patio umbrellas were such a pain. I saw the ads on TV for the Sunsetter awnings and I wanted one.

Queen's Castle - Bathtub Replacement

Patio and Front Entry. Hooray for Bathfitter. Instead of going through a costly and inconvenient tearout, Bathfitter comes in and goes right over the top. They are in and out in a day and there's very little mess. Bathfitter came out and measured for the mold of the tub. The install date was set, giving them time to manufacture the new tub. Everything was caulked and sealed. They were finished by the end of the day.

Queen's Castle - New Bay Window

Patio and Front Entry. The old window was the original. There were 3 panels with an awning window at the bottom of each panel. The awning windows were very hard to open and every time we opened them the screens fell out. Even when they were open they did not let in much air. The new window is so gorgeous. It's 5 equal sized panels with two that crank open. They let in plenty of air and now I can set my plants on the huge sill. It's beautiful from the inside and outside.

Patio and Front Entry. Check out some of Buffalo's famous weather events, some pictures of my yard and the dogs we've had through the years. Weather Event: December 26, 2001 Snowstorm. This was quite a nasty snowstorm that kept us socked in for several days. After a taste of snow for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the real thing started falling on December 26th. CNN and the Weather Channel reported our area as "paralyzed" after the snow on 12/24 and 12/25. We have dug out the dog shelter one more time.
