Cynically optimistic - the only way to be. I have found a terrapin whilst walking the dog. The dog wasn't impressed as his walk was cut short. It is now sitting in my spare goldfish tank, on a brick. Tomorrow I am looking at going to the NHM's wildlife garden - I need to have fun with worms and newts, spending lots of days indoors is making my brain tired, and I think I need to do some gentle exercise without the brain-blagh of being indoors. 26th-Aug-2010 01:47 am (UTC). Cynically optimistic - the only way to be. Just leaped outside with my binoculars to watch the International Space Station go over. I *think* through the binoculars you can see it's structure, whereas with the naked eye it's just a very bright dot. I could have been looking at an odd plane though, but I'll get another go at spotting it at 22:40. I've bought a new fishtank, and it'll be delivered in a week or so.
