Sunday, 29 May 2011. Rockingham Castle wedding photography - Emma and Richard are married! It was lovely to be back at Rockingham Castle. Yesterday as Emma and Richard were married. Despite the constant blustery wind and the threat of rain it stayed dry throughout the day as Emma and her bridal party arrived in a a fabuous horse drawn carriage, from Waldburg Shires. Prior to their wedding in the Great Hall in the castle. We got out round the gardens with the two of them after their wedding breakfast.

Monday, 21 February 2011. I put on righteousness, and it clothed me. A group of us disappeared for the weekend to Ralph's. In the middle of the Leicester countryside. On the Sunday afternoon, after Molly and I had sat drinking gin and tonics in the ballroom in front of the fire, we braved the cold outside to walk around the grounds - stables, dairy and all - where I took these pictures with all the clothes I'd brought. Monday, 6 June 2011. Nero in the News! Four Seasons on a summer's day. MUSICAL TREAT: A string quartet brought a touch of class to The Potteries Shopping Centre. The group delivered four 45-minute performances to crowds of passing shoppers. They were invited as part of a week-long series of activities designed to entertain youngsters reluctantly out for half-term shopping trips. Each event has a woodland premise and the quartet played Vivaldi's Four Seasons in keeping with the theme. The Month of May.

It overlooks the villages of Rockingham and Caldecott and enjoys good views over the Welland Valley. Now privately owned, it is open to the public on certain days. Rockingham Castle was a popular haunt of writer Charles Dickens who was a great friend of Richard and Levinia Watson, ancestors of the current family. A fantastic Elizabethan house.
