Monday, May 18, 2009. Ironman 70.3 Florida- The start. Sunday, May 17, 2009. 8 Months ago I was inspired to take myself from an Over 220 lb couch potato to a finisher of an Ironman 70.3 race. I have accomplish my goal. Today I finished the Ironman Florida 70.3. I feel as if I could fall asleep right now! 160;Its 6:30pm. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. You know that in a race all the runners run but only one wins the prize, don't you? Monday, November 24, 2008. Well not too much to report as my professional life has taken a turn and not too much time to train. I have struggled to keep on track for the last three weeks due to added professional responsibilities. I have hit the 206 lb mark. Two months to go on my bet. Thursday, March 26, 2009. Countdown- 8 Weeks till Ironman. I have 8 weeks of training left until. I compete in the Ironman. 703 Goal will be to just finish the race. I have up'd. My training this week to try and prepare myself for the grueling distances. Of this race. This week I will hit 7.5 miles on the long run and advance that every week by one mile. My long ride this week will be at a distance of 40 miles and advance that by 3-5 miles every week until. Monday, March 16, 2009. Sunday, March 15, 2009.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009. After my last weak. I pray for the four people that are losing their jobs and the many more that are currently looking for employment. I am saddened by the turn in the economy and pray that our new administration can somehow turnaround our ailing financial nation. . Work is really getting in the way of my training. I think I may have to become self sufficiently rich in order to pursue my real life. . Until that happens, I will need to deal with it. . First race is March 15 th.

Thursday, December 25, 2008. Week 13- Merry Christmas. I received a Christmas gift early.Broke the 200 lb barrier and feeling pretty good. I made my initial goal. Now for the next challenge. I am hoping to weigh 185-190 for the Ironman. Sunday, December 7, 2008. Week 10: Head Cold. I have my eye on a couple of Olympic distance triathlons coming in March. I feel as if I need to do at least one prior to the Ironman. Hopefully I can get a sprint and an Olympic in prior to the BIG ONE. . Week 10: Head Cold.

Note: "Ole"="Only" We were given strict instructions that we could enter her room "Only to check on me". Note picture of me and roger with big "X"'s crossing us out.
