Quest for the Simple Life. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. 7 Ideas to Relax and Rejuvenate. Our RV Journey – Summer Trip – Day 57. The storm and its aftermath really took a lot out of me. I didn’t realize it at first. I pushed through until the weekend, then I felt exhausted – physically and mentally drained. I spent some time unwinding, reading and relaxing over the weekend. Finally feeling like myself again on Sunday night, I was eager to return to our normal routines today. I don’t know.). Day 5 with no power.

Quest for the Simple Life. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Letting Go of Training Wheels. Last night, I was helping my son learn to ride his bike without training wheels. I love that moment when they have a good sense of balance and they grow more confident as they are pedaling. I am running next to the bike and I gently take my hand off his seat - he is riding on his own! Of course he glances back quickly and starts to get nervous. How does he know I lifted my hand off the seat? He is so excited, so confident.

During his Masters Program, he bought and converted a bus. I love how he took theory to hands on - outside the classroom doors and began this project. Quest for the Simple Life. Monday, December 12, 2011. Time for a Change. It's been a here of change here and I am finishing the year by cutting off all of my hair! Program which uses the hair to supply wigs through the American Cancer Society. Later I was thinking that this change came at a good time for me. Maybe it is symbolic. Saturday, July 21, 2007. 7/21/07 Harry Potter Book 7 Party. We couldn't wait for the book to come out! We bought 2 advance copies to pick up in Santa Rosa, CA and signed up to attend the Barnes and Noble Party. The kids purchased t-shirts at Hot Topic. Sarah's said "Snape - Friend or Foe? And Dave's was the Griffinder logo. We received Harry Potter glow-in-the-dark glasses and a graduation tassle with a tag "072707" which we hung in the RV. We were satisfied with the ending, but will miss our old friends.
