Winter in New Orleans. 8220;Winter in…” it evokes pictures of snow doesn’t it? But not in New Orleans…:-) I was very lucky with the weather. Soon before I came, there were rainstorms and on the other hand it was pretty cold there soon after I left :-). As to the “Who dat” and “Saints” theme – just see this post. Different framing… the star with pictures from Lukas and Zuzka’ wedding that I took more then two years ago on Pentacon Six camera :-). The “Who dat” theme…. Lukas shooting his favorite theme.

By the start of the new year, some of the photographers (and photobloggers) I watch regularly came up with 2009 recap posts. Some of them were rather funny (like Lukas’ humorous entry. Some posts were more serious (e.g. Severin. When I came back from Lisbon, we had a little get together:. Milos, Katka and Charlie. Zuzka and Lukas came back to Czech Rep. for summer for a few weeks. Short return to chicago. This is the last one from out there, I think. Nice double expo when changing the roll between olympus xa and canon A2e. In the French quarter. Local artist's yard. interesting stuff. Downtown from garage building on campus. Exotic bras in the French market. here the second roll starts.

Sunday, September 13, 2009. Chinon gaf 35ee kodak 200. I love the one that I chose as editorial pick today. I ran across this in the carrell lounge and it is funny and serious at the same time. Especially for us, anthropologists. The white man coming to the Americas and forming its history. Natives would love it :-). Well, again and again :-). Underexposed due to the change in iso settings to test how 1.5V battery works in a camera for 1.3V. This was 160 iso, 125 was right. Some bathroom roll wasting.

I repaired my nikon f3' shutter with liquid electrical tape and then loaded with legacy 400 film (rebranded neopan 400). I love what came out of this roll from several reasons. Film quality, subjects and objects shot etc. Most shots taken with 28/2.8 nikon lens or with 50/1.8. I just walked around and when I saw it, I had to take a shot. Sunday, August 30, 2009. Truly loving camera - exakta exa and the test of new spiratone 35/2.8 ( neopan ss). I possess this camera for a while but was looking for a wide angle lens. Surprisingly, all exakta lenses are rather expensive and I did not want to spend a lot on a lens for my lovely exa that has only shutter speeds up to 1/150s.
