From 31st January 2013, the commonly used terms of engagement for barristers taking instructions from solicitors and other authorised work providers (known as the Non-Contractual Terms of Work and the Withdrawal of Credit Scheme) were abolished. We aim to recruit a bright and enthusiastic pupil who has the academic ability and commercial awareness needed for a career at the Chancery Bar. Historically, junior tenants have been recruited from Chambers pupils and we regard our pupil as the principal candidate for any tenancy.
