Saturday, January 30, 2010. Here is the latest color comp. I just sketched this up in painter. Trying to maintain a loose touch with this piece. I like where it's headed but I think it still needs some detail. The giant looks a little plain. I am working on maybe some new greeblies for him- visual detail/elements. We;ll see. Anyway, I'll post more as I move towards the final piece. Thanks for looking! Wednesday, January 27, 2010. ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY: CLUMSY (CONCEPT). Friday, January 15, 2010. Okay So I ...

http://artsmear.blogspot.com/2012/04/illustration-friday-heights.html
Wednesday, April 25, 2012. I completed this a while back as a promo piece. I think it signifies "height" pretty well. Obviously, I have a real fetish for all things that fly. It's probably why it ends up in so much of my work. Wow, this is wonderful! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I BEEN BUSY THESE DAYS YO. Justin Gerard's Illustration Blog. artsmear: November 2009
http://artsmear.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 24, 2009. This illustration was done to test some of my brush settings in Corel Painter. I am trying to get the look of a hard crowquill nib- one that doesn't give a lot of variation in the line but is still fluid and loose. I yanked this sketch out of the sketchbook and went to work. Anyway, please let me know what you think! Friday, November 20, 2009. Tuesday, November 03, 2009. SKETCHBOOK DROPPING OF THE WEEK. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). SKETCHBOOK DROPPING OF THE WEEK.
