We left Kansas one week ago today, on a trip that has so far consisted of long drives, good times, and cumbersomely large cities that we had never before been. Our shows began as the opening support for a delightful band from the U.K. called. Band photo at the falls. The Maid of the Mist makes its way nearer and nearer. Feeling smarter at Harvard. Our band was blessed with the opportunity to perform at Austin City Limits Festival some weeks back, and oh what a time it was. I had only heard of it prior, and had no idea just how massive the whole thing was. Though it’s a grandiose event, from the bands that performed to the sheer amount of people in attendance, I think the small details best capture our time there. With the Avett Brothers.
