Dead Souls: April 2007
http://homelifeinspokane.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Home Life in Old Spokane. Sunday, April 29, 2007. Library sales are dangerous. No, I didn't. Buy a whole library, though soon I could start one. The Spokane Library. Had a big sale this weekend and once again, I fell for it. How could I not though, all fiction was 3 for $1.00! I already had, and another one, It's All Right Now. I had already read. I also picked up a copy of An Equal Music. Wonder When You'll Miss Me. Back to the book. I especially like the association between Superman and the golem.

Dead Souls: June 2007
http://homelifeinspokane.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Home Life in Old Spokane. Wednesday, June 20, 2007. To a much better place. And a much better place. Would have to be special. Now, I'm the sort of guy who allow a musician some indulgences. I'll generally go along with it. I've sat through more experimental Sonic Youth records than I care to talk about. I've dip my cup into the well that is John Cale's career and found the occasional dead rodent, but I still go back. Saturday, June 9, 2007. So, I really liked What is the What. Dead Souls: May 2007
http://homelifeinspokane.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Home Life in Old Spokane. Thursday, May 17, 2007. So, I was riding my bike today and I passed this house in Hillyard. That looked pretty typical. Most of hillyard. You've gotta love Christopher Hitchens. Character trying to figure out the nature of you. Anyway, I have a strong dislike for segregationist homophobes. And I like this epithet. For Jerry Falwell that comes from Hitchen's interview on Hannity and Colmes:. The New Republic Weblogs. Saturday, May 5, 2007. We went to Luna. View my complete profile.

Dead Souls
http://homelifeinspokane.blogspot.com/2007/06/so-i-really-liked-what-is-what-by-dave.html
Home Life in Old Spokane. Saturday, June 9, 2007. So, I really liked What is the What. By Dave Eggers. I also am rather partial to The New Republic. Especially their blog, The Plank. So I was a bit unhappy when I saw the review. They printed of What is the What. This review was mostly involved with reviewing Dave Eggers and McSweeney's. Guess what, Lee Siegel doesn't like McSweeney's and though he claims otherwise, I don't think he likes Dave Eggers much either. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Dead Souls: Get Lit!
http://homelifeinspokane.blogspot.com/2007/04/get-lit.html
Home Life in Old Spokane. Sunday, April 29, 2007. I finally went to a Get Lit! Event Just about the last one. I saw Jonathan Lethem. Speak and then sign books at the Center Stage theater. Lethem was very funny and did more of a performance from his new book than a reading. As for the book, You Don't Love Me Yet. I've heard mixed reviews. The part that he read was very entertaining though. I got a copy of Fortress of Solitude. Signed and Amber bought a copy of As She Climbed Across the Table.

Dead Souls: March 2007
http://homelifeinspokane.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Home Life in Old Spokane. Sunday, March 25, 2007. So the other day the wife and I went to Gonzaga's Jundt Art Museum. I appreciate that they don't charge for admission, but I wish there was more to see. You enter the building and walk down a short hall. To the left is a room with a sofa and some chairs and a large Chihuly. I really wish there was a good museum around here. The MAC. However, The Tinman. Well, now we can all be scared, which is fun. I think I'll write a letter talking about the kids an...
