Peace in the Puzzle: March 2013
http://peaceinthepuzzle.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Peace in the Puzzle. Saturday, March 9, 2013. School is going great. I think we just finished up week 25? I've missed blogging, and I'm sorry there are no pictures this time. The photo thing has been a constant struggle for me. Our laptop is on its last legs too and I am hesitant to upload a bunch of pictures on it. I'll see what I can do in the near future to give you some photos to look at. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Things we're praying for.

Peace in the Puzzle: Towne Park
http://peaceinthepuzzle.blogspot.com/2012/05/towne-park.html
Peace in the Puzzle. Saturday, May 19, 2012. We found a very cool new park not too far from our house. It just opened. It has a neat playground, and some hiking/biking trails. There is also a large lake you can fish at. But the best part is the Nature Explore Classroom area. This was a group of 11 large stations to explore, and connect with nature. One area was "MUSIC." They had gourds made into maracas (Sp? Xylophones made out of wood, hollow sticks to hit together, pan flutes, and drums! Things we're p...

Peace in the Puzzle: Another Pinterest Idea
http://peaceinthepuzzle.blogspot.com/2012/09/another-pinterest-idea.html
Peace in the Puzzle. Thursday, September 6, 2012. If you are on pinterest you can search NURSE BAIT and see the original project. It is kind of directed for use by someone who is in the hospital and who is ACTUALLY sick. But seeing how giving birth isn't quite the same, I had to tweak the project a little. And here's what I came up with. When you’ve had lots of babies, like eight or nine,. A lot of the nurses think you’ll be fine. 8220;This mom is a pro- she’ll know what to do-. My own special nurse comi...

Peace in the Puzzle: 10 plus 4
http://peaceinthepuzzle.blogspot.com/2012/04/10-plus-4.html
Peace in the Puzzle. Friday, April 27, 2012. That was 8 days ago. Last night after dinner, a bunch of neighborhood kids were riding bikes. And Bradyn hopped on his, went down the grassy area next to the driveway and crashed into another kid who was coming down the sidewalk on their bike. His view was blocked by the van. And his chin hit something, he says it was the sidewalk, and voila! Here is how he looks today, showing his "whiskers". I have to chuckle because that is so BOY! April 27, 2012 at 1:36 PM.

Peace in the Puzzle: October 2012
http://peaceinthepuzzle.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Peace in the Puzzle. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. I'm now 38 weeks and two days pregnant. I haven't been this pregnant in a long time. The last two babies were both born at 36 weeks. All in all I'm feeling fairly well. I seem to have bad days where I feel like I have the flu, but then I also have good days where I just feel tired. However, my body seems to be stuck in unproductive practice mode- just enough to make me completely uncomfortable for a while. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Peace in the Puzzle. Saturday, September 14, 2013. Ava celebrated her 5th birthday a couple of weeks ago. She had very busy day that started with her opening her BIG present from her family: A Grocery Store/Lemonade Stand! And we got to see the goats in the children's zoo for free too, because we were there early. Ava had just studied about goats for school so it was neat to get to spend a little time with them. Here she is standing next to the ticket blaster machine with her crown on. The ticket bla...

Believing the Best: Drawing and Watercolors
http://believingthebest.blogspot.com/2012/10/drawing-and-watercolors.html
Tuesday, October 2, 2012. I finally re-checked out "Drawing With Children" at the library and have found the beginning drawing lessons so enlightening. I admit that it isn't easy trying to teach art to your children, when you are not very artistic! I began 'googling' phrases like: 'how can a non-artistic homeschooler teach art lessons'? Mark is getting into the shading here. Me I'm just enjoying the colors. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Brave Writer's Life in Brief. A Place of Quiet Rest.
