A is for Abode. January 7, 2011 · 1:07 pm. I won’t be too overt location-wise, but we’re pretty much right here at the corner of whosits and whatsis. If I had my windows open, you could call my name from the library steps and I’d hear you. Here’s a few more moving-in-week shots. Nothing’s finished, but we’re getting there. The Whirling Dervish: March 2015
http://cinnyn.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2015. I've been in Boston, MA for 3 weeks now but the weather has been crappy on the weekends. Yesterday was the first sunny day that I was off. Yeah me! I finally got to be a bit of a tourist. Took the Red Line down to Park to start at the Boston Commons. From there I started my own walk of the Freedom Trail (thefreedomtrail.org) which comprises 16-18 historic places on a 2 mile walk. All are significant to the beginnings of our country. And green. Old army green at that.

The Whirling Dervish: October 2013
http://cinnyn.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 9, 2013. I was in the mood for a black and white photo. This is one of the front doors at the National Cathedral in Georgetown, VA. Links to this post. Labels: Black and white. Monday, October 7, 2013. Friday I drove to the next town up the road to go to Walmart. Now usually I hate shopping at Walmart but I needed groceries, a roasting pan, and my oil changed. The drive home was interesting as storms were rolling in. Made for an interesting picture! Links to this post.

The Whirling Dervish: Home
http://cinnyn.blogspot.com/2015/02/home.html
Thursday, February 26, 2015. I came home for a week and a half between travel assignments. While I've been here my mom and I have taught my nieces how to cross stitch. They are doing pretty well with practice just doing the x's and locking down their thread in the back. Shockingly the 8 year old is having an easier time than the 12 year old. The Whirling Dervish: January 2015

Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Love playing with shadows. Links to this post. Monday, January 19, 2015. From Glenwood Cemetary, Houston, Texas. Links to this post. Sunday, January 18, 2015. Chapter 1 is all about the Howl. In fact, Clarissa Estes names the chapter ‘The Howl: Resurrection of the Wild Woman.’. 8220;There is an old woman who lives in a hidden place that everyone knows in their souls but few have ever seen.”. Does this mean the song is as important as the bones? If we are singing over our own bo...

The Whirling Dervish: Skeletons
http://cinnyn.blogspot.com/2015/04/skeletons.html
Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Apparently early Bostonians thought putting skeletons on their tombstone was a sign they had beaten death and gone to heaven. I just think the stone masons wanted a laugh. Clearly this skeleton is enjoying its life. #boston #historygeek. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Beyond the fields we know. Cheryl Day's 365 Photo Project.
