tumbling blocks: July 2006
http://tumblingblocks.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 31, 2006. Lucky me. My quilt blocks came from Tammy and they are wonderful. So crisp and evenly stitched and tidily pressed. The stipey one is my favorite because it's the kind of block that you can spend lots of time rearranging, deciding how the block should be turned. It looks a little different each way. And Tammy sent extras too- a fluffy (pink! Scarf for Beebs and stitch markers for me. These are totally fun and above and beyond. Thanks Tammy! Posted by Dorie at 6:24 PM. Really big tha...

story of a quilt: New swap blocks!
http://storyofaquilt.blogspot.com/2006/07/new-swap-blocks.html
Story of a quilt. Thursday, July 27, 2006. Check out these beautiful blocks I received from The Crafty Scientist! And I'm not just saying that because I now have enough blocks to sew the top together - they are completely gorgeous! We swapped because I wanted a little more pastel in my quilt - do you see the lavender she put in there? I never would have thought to add that color, but it just works. It works like crazy. I can't wait to show how the whole thing comes together! Posted by Jennicakes @ 1:11 PM.

Story of a quilt. Saturday, May 13, 2006. I've already linked to the Seedpod block swap,. But since a little bird told me it was Jessica's birthday, I wanted to give her a shout-out for arranging the whole swap for us. She did a ton of work, including posting all these beautiful shots of various blocks. So you can see what kinds of submissions there were. So, thanks again, Jessica, and Happy Birthday! story of a quilt: Quilting Hollywood
http://storyofaquilt.blogspot.com/2006/07/quilting-hollywood.html
Story of a quilt. Thursday, July 06, 2006. I can't believe I haven't updated in over a month! Well maybe I can. It's been pretty eventful around here lately, and some of that has to do with the block I'm showing here. A few months ago, I signed up to contribute some products to the MTV Style Lounge. You can read a little more about that here. The half of the block you can see above is now the middle of this block. Oh, well - lessoned learned, and now I have a block with kind of an interesting history.
