Because I heard you were bored: Book #22 The Host by Stephanie Meyer
http://nonboring.blogspot.com/2009/07/book-22-host-by-stephanie-meyer.html
Because I heard you were bored. Stop by when no one's looking. including you. July 16, 2009. Book #22 The Host by Stephanie Meyer. The twenty-second book I read since May 2008 is:. Note: spoiler alert* *. I love a good story that explores what it means to be a person. The movie Blade Runner is one of the classic tales that ponders whether or not being born makes you human, or if it is something more. And this book held that possibility, with a reverse-telling of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Also unfor...

Because I heard you were bored: Book #21: Leading Geeks
http://nonboring.blogspot.com/2009/06/book-20-leading-geeks.html
Because I heard you were bored. Stop by when no one's looking. including you. June 16, 2009. Book #21: Leading Geeks. The twenty-first book I read since May 2008 is:. I actually saw Glen speak a few years ago, and was promised a copy of his book at the time. I never got that copy, and turns out I didn't miss much. The book is decent, but I didn't learn anything in it that he didn't cover in his presentation. Labels: all about me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Your New England Patriots!

Melinda Quilts etc: Selvage Mug Rug
http://melinful.blogspot.com/2015/08/selvage-mug-rug.html
Thursday, August 06, 2015. A month or so ago we had a special projects day at Allatoona focusing on selvages. We were each given a kit to make a mug rug – only selvages needed to be added. I have no shortage of selvages so I made my mug rug but never showed it. Here it is. I really want to start another selvage quilt but I can’t seem to decide on a pattern. I keep seeing patterns I like and haven’t been able to settle on one. Labels: Allatoona Quilters Guild. Cute mug rug, thanks for sharing! Fruit a...

Melinda Quilts etc: Fiber Art Fusion–Silk Painting
http://melinful.blogspot.com/2015/08/fiber-art-fusionsilk-painting.html
Wednesday, August 05, 2015. Fiber Art Fusion–Silk Painting. What a wonderful time we had last night! 160; Diane shared silk with us and we learned how to paint on silk. It was a lot of fun. The first piece is mine. The paint has to dry for a few days and then the pieces have to be steamed for about 3 hours. Diane kindly agreed to take them home and do this for us. Hopefully we will get our pieces back next month. Labels: Fiber Art Fusion. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://melinful.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 29, 2015. The warm colors were also great – I think this is the one I would have picked. Roxanne was playing with her blocks – again I am not sure this will be the final result. The pattern actually called for all the blocks to just be set side to side in the same direction but it is always fun to see what people decide to do. 1 comments from wonderful readers. Links to this post. Saturday, June 27, 2015. In class again today. This time it is hand piecing the Castle Wall block. I haven̵...
