http://aftermathquilting.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 30, 2014. I finally quilted the quilt for my great nephew and gave it to him Friday. He turned one in August so I'm not too far behind. Of course another nephew announced they're expecting their second child . . . . now it all starts again. The original pattern had another block in each corner. I decided it really needed the Bear Paw block. Thanks for checking in. Bonnie Hunter Mystery Grand Illusion PART 1. The royal blue is replacing black. My neutral will be white with red dots. Right...

Wednesday, January 7, 2015. 51 x 51 inches. The center block uses a stripe to make it seem. That the fabric curls around the star. The 10 star blocks. The blocks were constructed during the year as samples. All I had to do was set them in a design for the January meeting. 55 x 66 inches. The outside border is a border print. The upper left inside. Border is a section of the border print. I have no idea. How I'll quilt this! I have all the required "rows" but the blocks are set on point. My friend is fini...

AfterMath Quilting: October 2014
http://aftermathquilting.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 24, 2014. Bonnie Hunter's 2014 Mystery. Last year was my first Bonnie Hunter mystery. I was able to pull fabrics from my stash and put together a lovely scrap quilt. This year I'm planning to participate again, but I purchased fabrics instead. The quilt will not be scrap. It will be interesting to see how this works out . . . and I'm anxious to see if I like it as well. I did find one focus fabric and used it to coordinate the other choices. Thanks for checking in. AfterMath Quilting: Quick Curve Ruler
http://aftermathquilting.blogspot.com/2015/08/quick-curve-ruler.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. I purchased the Quick Curve Ruler a couple of years ago but had never unwrapped it and put it to use. Mission accomplished! I needed (wanted) a table runner for a birthday present so I decided the time was right. I have a few questions about getting things to line up but for a first attempt it's not too bad. 16 x 44.5 inches. Back side to show quilting. Thanks for checking in. August 12, 2015 at 6:24 PM. AfterMath Quilting: June 2015
http://aftermathquilting.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 20, 2015. Where does the time go? I've been busy getting ready for our BIG quilt show next weekend. Seven Sisters Quilt Show, San Luis Obispo, CA. It's a lot of fun, but a lot of work over many months. I just have a few little things to show. I embroidered the show name on aprons to be used by my committee. Last night I wanted mindless work to do . . . . I was tired but wanted. To make something. This was fabric I was never going to use in a quilt. Smaller, but a useable (dinner) size.

AfterMath Quilting: September 2014
http://aftermathquilting.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 9, 2014. For the first time I put my fall quilt on the wall. I want to use the border fabric in some other pieces so I have to determine how much of that fabric is available. I need to decide what to use for the sashing as well. When I completed Bonnie Hunter's Celtic Solstice mystery the quilt was so busy I didn't add a border. Now that I've looked at this one I'm not sure if I want a border. I'll have to think about it. Thanks for checking in. Labels: works in progress.

AfterMath Quilting: December 2014
http://aftermathquilting.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 29, 2014. I had a wonderful Christmas with my family. I got way behind on my sewing due to illness. I wasn't able to finish my ornaments until Christmas Day, but I was able to deliver them to everyone before I left to come home. This should teach me not to wait until the last minute, but I know I'll do it again next year. I can't break tradition. The red Santa in the upper left was my first prototype. I found these on. By looking at the pictures. Everyone like them. Thanks for checking in.
