Billye's Blog: August 2009
http://billyevitag.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
My quilting, stained glass, and painting. Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Well, imagine that, it's Tuesday again! Here I am back blogging on a Tuesday. Here's a photo of my great-niece Becky's quilt - I've named it "Rising Star" and put on the label "Made Especially for Becky - who is the rising star". I thought that was pretty cool - I'm not usually very creative with stuff like that. Maybe that's not very creative either, now that I think of it! But eventually, I think it'll be a gorgeous quilt! Homeschool with triplets: Chirstmas Gifts- Homeschool style
http://kytriplets.blogspot.com/2007/11/chirstmas-gifts-homeschool-style.html
Thursday, November 29, 2007. Chirstmas Gifts- Homeschool style. My kidlets are leafing through the Christmas catalogs we've received and I noticed today that there was only one toy my daughter marked in the big ol' Target toy catalog. . I started thinking about how the best toys my kids have received aren't the typical toys found in catalogs. So for your browsing pleasure, here are some of their favs:. Roblems for 30 minutes just because they all center around fart jokes. . Last year she got the. 160;&#...

Homeschool with triplets: November 2005
http://kytriplets.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2005. What did you learn in school today, honey? Last night while telling their father about school GooseyGirl saw something crawling across the ceiling. "Daddy, look! GooseyGirl hollered. Sure enough, there was a spider crawling on the ceiling. BirdMan gets atop Shawn's shoulders. Shawn climbs up the stool. Mr. Spider watches all of this transpiring and starts forming a plan. Shawn isn't aware of this aspect to the plan. Ummm where is it, Dad? Shawn got the child off his shoulder...

Homeschool with triplets: BirdMan Hits a Milestone
http://kytriplets.blogspot.com/2006/08/birdman-hits-milestone.html
Thursday, August 17, 2006. BirdMan Hits a Milestone. Somehow, somewhere, sometime. the switch was flipped. I don't know how, but it has happened and there ain't no turnin' back. His body's sweat glands have kicked into gear and he can curl your nose. For the last seven years he would sweat and perspire but without the icky aroma. Until now. You wouldn't think this milestone is worthy of a blog entry but surprisingly it's worth that AND a seven year old happy dance. After all, grownups. My pits are smelly!

Homeschool with triplets: The Great Worm Hunt
http://kytriplets.blogspot.com/2005/11/great-worm-hunt.html
Wednesday, November 16, 2005. The Great Worm Hunt. We use a science curriculum that is hands on and requires lots of squishy, dirty experiments which my kids LOVE. This week we are studying worms and Monday we went on our great worm hunt. 6 worms, 2 slugs, a centipede, a purple mushroom and 4 pills bugs were found. The 6 worms were then examined with magnifying glasses in our schoolroom. If you place your worm on the table and then leave to go to the bathroom, it will be gone when you get back. My Quilti...

Homeschool with triplets: Mis dedos del pie son negros y azul.
http://kytriplets.blogspot.com/2006/01/mis-dedos-del-pie-son-negros-y-azul.html
Monday, January 16, 2006. Mis dedos del pie son negros y azul. Well, I shouldn't have worried about the Baptists trying to convert me. I should've worried about the roller skating. Mis dedos del pie son negros y azul. In the Spanish class we learned that "toes" in Spanish is "dedos del pie" or, literally, the fingers of my feet. Well, the fingers of my feet are black and blue. I should have worn steel toed boots. Kids, here are your skates! How many rollers do you see on one skate? That's right, 24.".

Addicted To Quilts: September 2014
http://addictedtoquilts.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, 13 September 2014. Modern Quilt in Purple. This modern quilt was made by Sandra. I think the design is very striking. I quilted it with an allover freehand design I call boxes. Wednesday, 10 September 2014. Another of Janet Sansom’s. Beautiful embroidery quilts. I like how the embroidery is circular but the piecing is very square. I quilted feathers around the embroidery in both the blocks and the border and continuously curved on the squares in the piecing. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). T-Shirt ...
