Nearly Insane Quilts: Block 3
http://nearlyinsanequilts.blogspot.com/2009/10/block-3.html
Sunday, October 25, 2009. Well, hopefully we're back to our regularly scheduled blocks. Here is everything set out for this week's blocks. On the side are two piles, one for 1/2 square triangles. And the other for flying geese. Here are things with the flying geese and 1/2 square triangles. Plus, I've done the centre square-in-a-square. Now I've added the middle border. And then the outer border finishes off the block. Thanks for the small break, I needed it! October 26, 2009 at 6:46 AM.

Nearly Insane Quilts: Block 10
http://nearlyinsanequilts.blogspot.com/2009/07/block-10.html
Monday, July 20, 2009. My apologies. I completely flaked out and forgot to post a block yesterday. This is another simple block for us this week. (In my neck of the woods, it's too hot to sew! We have short summers so I enjoy them while I can. Here is everything all set out and ready to go. The pile of fabric in the upper left corner will make the flying geese. Here is the block with the inner 9-patch assembled. Now we just need to add the final outer border. And our next block is done! I am 3 behind!

Just another rainy day! Sunday, April 17, 2011. I'm now into the 2nd day of spring cleaning and ONCE-AND-FOR-ALL setting up a "sewing cubby" for me to hide away in while I sew my days away! I'm so excited for it to be finished! Once I get all my fabric organized in there, all I have left to do is to sew my tie-on curtains and I'M DONE! Oooh I can't wait! Blessings to you all. Thursday, July 2, 2009. I sure don't know where time goes. I honestly can't believe that it's been over two months since I last posted. I knew I'd been busy but not that busy. lol. I have some photo documentation for my absence though. I'll try to keep it all in chronological order. Then we had graduation to prepare for. We had all these announcements and party invitations to get ready and send out. I'm sorry I haven't been around in so long. I have been checking on all of you off and on but not as m...

Just another rainy day! Sunday, June 28, 2009. F R I E N D S Swap. I received my swap package a few days ago from Lanette. It was packaged up sooo beautifully, I was ALMOST afraid to open them! But when I did.OMG! Look what I found! I have enough to keep me busy for a while! I was especially thrilled because of all the quilting goodies and the fact that we only have 1 very small quilt shop where I live, so there isn't much of a selection! Now, thanks to Lanette, I have LOTS to do! Friday, June 26, 2009.

Just another rainy day!: MAY DAY IS LEI DAY IN HAWAI'I!!!
http://theycallmegrammi.blogspot.com/2011/05/may-day-is-lei-day-in-hawaii.html
Just another rainy day! Sunday, May 1, 2011. MAY DAY IS LEI DAY IN HAWAI'I! When I was growing up, May Day was when EVERYONE wore their mu'umu'u or aloha shirt.and you just had to wear a lei! It's really not like that so much anymore, the schools here opt to be more "politically correct" and now they do more things like outdoors field days of play. Even "maypole" dancing! It isn't going to be celebrated until next Friday and I'm so excited to see what they have in store for us this year!
