She made this quilt for a cousin who has a hard time adjusting to her husband passing away and I'm sure this will come as a blessing to her and every time she snuggles in it, it will feel like a hug from Di. Tuesday, 8 October 2013. A little insight in the Girl's Night In. Some busy ladies at work! Friday, 4 October 2013.

Boolboonda Hall Quilters: November 2013
http://boolboondahallquilters.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 26 November 2013. Memory Quilt (by Maria). This quilt is a bit controversial. I made this one for my brother-in-law from my mother-in-laws clothes. I have also incorporated some of his favourite blanket and some doleys. My mother-in-law was the queen of doleys. Most people have told me they like the idea, however, I have been told by one friend that this is a very morbid idea. I hope my BIL likes it and appreciates the sentiment behind it. And sometimes I quilt....: May 2008
http://hillingdonquilts.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
And sometimes I quilt. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. This one is so cute! May painted and embellished each picture block. To give it an old fashioned 'puffy' look, May used high loft poly batting (a bit tricky under the longarm! It needed minimal quilting or it would have flattened it too much. A pretty trailing heart around the sashing and ditch quilting in the block borders did the trick. Tuesday, May 27, 2008. How mad is this girl? Bloss and Moo had fun playing with photoshop. Monday, May 26, 2008. Did hav...

A friend of mine bought some napkins at the op shop and gifted them to me for the linen. It's a lovely piece of fabric and will be great for stitcheries). It's a bit sad seeing someones hand work being donated and sold for very little. however that is my gain in this case. you can see all the handstitching around the edges (there are 10 napkins). And just to make it more...
