The Bitchy Stitcher: December 2014
http://thebitchystitcher.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. The Best of 2014. I keep having these conversations with my husband where I tell him that I feel unmoored, that I don't know what to do with myself, that nothing, no project or endeavor, seems like the right thing to pursue. Should I try to be a novelist? Should I keep working on the everything-you-ever-wanted-to-know-about-quilting-but-all-the-other-quilting-books-were-too-stuffy-to-tell-you book instead? And I feel guilty. Quilt Do you know Karlee Porter. Design Wall—...

The Bitchy Stitcher: January 2015
http://thebitchystitcher.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 15, 2015. I designed a quilt! After I worked out the design on paper, I figured out my fabric requirements and wrote out instructions that I would then have to follow myself as I constructed the quilt, to see if it actually worked. And by some miracle it did. I called it Breaking The Waves. I was still working for Generation Q. At the time, and I showed the finished quilt top to the editors, who said that they wanted it as a project for the magazine. Crap! Big thanks to the GenQ. First ...

Finish A Long Directory. Serious Catch-up * UPDATED*. March 1, 2015. March 1, 2015. I have a great deal of catch-up to do today. I think it has been an entire month since I have posted. I could list a million reasons why but instead I think it’s more important to move forward (who knows maybe admissions will leak out as we move ahead * wink, wink* ). So, in the spirit of moving forward here is what is going on in Rhonda’s world:. Here’s my girl being super silly the other day:. With the Dress Add On.

http://thebitchystitcher.blogspot.com/2015/06/so-you-want-to-sell-or-buy-fabric-on.html
Tuesday, June 9, 2015. So you want to sell (or buy) fabric on Instagram: a guide for the perplexed. First, you have to have the Instagram app and an account. Yes, it is a phone app, not a computer program or a website (there is a website, but it doesn't have the full functionality of the app). This may not seem fair, but there it is. Those are the essentials, but there's actually a few more things you should know. 1 Not everything sells. 2 Fabric by these designers sells best:. 5 If you are buying fabric...

The Jury is Still Out: Back to the Sewing Machine, well, at least ONE of them...
http://thejuryisstillout.blogspot.com/2011/06/back-to-sewing-machine-well-at-least.html
Friday, June 24, 2011. Back to the Sewing Machine, well, at least ONE of them. Hi Did you miss me? I've been missing myself lately. We just got back from our yearly jount to FLA. This year we opted to stay at Grandma Hunnybunny's and just go to the beach. We were going to go more than one day, but alas, the dreaded yellow flag was up on the second day. We picked up Hollywood for a few weeks this summer. He made the trip to Florida without being too bored. And he turned sweet 16! What did we do for kicks?
