Then to remove the tack you simply use the companion extractor tool that easily lifts the tacks out without damaging the fabric, and can also be used to straighten the tack. This tool is great for quilting and other crafts. 1 Position the tack in the magnetic end of the tacker, as shown in the illustration. 2 Apply slight pressure to the ergonomic handle of the "Quilter's Tacker" as the high impact thrust of the tool sets the tack into the desired surface.
