Quilt GroupBees: Grandmother's Flower Garden

http://www.quiltgroupbees.blogspot.com/2012/03/grandmothers-flower-garden.html

Sunday, March 11, 2012. For our February meeting, we learned how to make Grandmother's Flower Garden. We cut out hexagons and hand pieced them together to create the basic flower shape. It was fun to learn a way to quilt on the go! While I was in Utah, I found this sample quilt at one of my favorite quilt shops, Quilter's Haven in Bountiful. So with permission, I took a picture to bring back to show the group. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Simple template. Template images by dino4.

Gibbs on the GO: Decisions, decisions...

http://gibbsonthego.blogspot.com/2012/12/decisions-decisions.html

Gibbs on the GO. Wednesday, December 12, 2012. So here are my favorite family pictures from our photo shoot with our friend from our ward. Does this mean we are getting out a Christmas card this year? Why, yes it does! Which is why I need your help pronto! Which do you like best? My favorites, in order, are: simple brown wood background, bridge shot, and the first with the train tracks. Cute pictures, looking forward to your card :). December 12, 2012 at 6:47 PM. And you are in yw now?

Gibbs on the GO. Monday, January 30, 2012. We finally made it to Sea World. The kids had a great time. Aaron's favorite: the macaws in the blue horizons show. Connor's favorite: seeing the whales. Aubrey's favorite: Abby's spinning ride. Links to this post. What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon! Grandma joined in the fun and we had some friends join us as well. Gibbs on the GO. Monday, May 16, 2011. Aubrey and I went with a bunch of friends on a Mother/Daughter date in Balboa Park over the weekend. The Junior Theatre was presenting Disney's Beauty and the Beast. It was great! I took her to lunch at the Prado and we walked over and caught a glimpse of the lily pads near the botanical gardens. I wish I would have taken more pictures of us! Darn Just wasn't thinking. Links to this post. My crafts on the side. Links to this post. Saturday, May 7, 2011, Connor was b...

The Quilted Clutch: January 2012

http://thequiltedclutch.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 30, 2012. What started it all. When I graduated from Brigham Young University in 1998, my parents gave me a Brother sewing machine as a graduation gift. Little did I know how much I would be using that sewing machine in the years to come. I had little experience with sewing. Does 7th grade sewing class count? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Quilted Clutch: December 2012

http://thequiltedclutch.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 2, 2012. Christmas Tree Party Invitation. My quilt group is having our annual Christmas party this week. I made the invitations for our party with the help of my friend Tina. You can catch some of Tina's cute projects at Needles-n-Notions. I found this cute idea when I was looking for ideas for gift tags to teach at my Relief Society craft night at church. I found this little Christmas tree idea from here. So, we shall see what gets done first! Fabric Covered Composition Notebook Journal.

The Quilted Clutch: September 2014

http://thequiltedclutch.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Turning over a new wreath. I spontaneously made a wreath for my front door last week. I actually bought a wreath from Pier1 and even on sale, they're kind of pricey and a bit lacking. So I looked around my house and found a silk arrangement that was calling out to be repurposed. I wish I had a before picture. But here is the after. I love peonies and vibrant fall color! I think I may have started something I can't stop. So then a few more sprang forth! And more on the way!

The Quilted Clutch: March 2012

http://thequiltedclutch.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 18, 2012. We had the challenge this month to use a word on our card for this swap. I've had SU! S So Very set for so long and never used it! My daughter Aubrey also got to see the cards before going to bed. I made the mistake of not putting them away that night because in the morning, she decided to "write invitations" using all my cards! The Quilted Clutch: February 2012

http://thequiltedclutch.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, February 9, 2012. Valentine Monster Mail Carriers. Last year, Connor and I made a cute little monster mail box out of a kleenex box. This year we're making these cute little guys with his whole class during art time tomorrow. I'm going to teach a quick lesson on 3D art and then we're going to be making a bunch of monster mail carriers. Here's what you need to make a Valentine Monster Mail Carrier:. Small craft bag with handle 5.5" x 8.5" OR the larger size will work fine as well. I recommend do...

The Quilted Clutch: LDS Scripture Bag Tutorial

http://thequiltedclutch.blogspot.com/2012/12/lds-scripture-bag-tutorial.html

Saturday, December 1, 2012. LDS Scripture Bag Tutorial. A few months ago, one of my good friend's daughter was baptized and I wanted to make a special something for her. This is not a very good picture of the scripture bag I gave her but it's the only one I had. I ended up adjusting the height of the bag because it seemed a little too tall. But the tutorial is awesome and very clear. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Gibbs on the GO. Christmas Tree Party Invitation.

Gibbs on the GO: Extraordinary Stake Relief Society Activity

http://gibbsonthego.blogspot.com/2012/04/extraordinary-stake-relief-society.html

Gibbs on the GO. Monday, April 9, 2012. Extraordinary Stake Relief Society Activity. Janet Hogstrom, myself, Tina Jacobson. Ruth Taylor and myself. Here's most of the cast after the play. We had some really neat bonnets and costumes. My friend Jeanette, in the brown dress with white shawl, played Emma Smith. She did a great job. It was a huge relief! That looks like it turned out to be a really nice production. And good for you for participating.something I probably wouldnt do in a million years.

Torsdag 24 mars 2011. Måndag 21 februari 2011. the QuiltGroup.com blog | behind the scenes at QuiltGroup.com

The QuiltGroup.com blog. A new type of album. When we started planning this site, figuring out how we wanted albums to work was the trickiest part. My original plan was that you had to select which type of album you wanted to do. The idea would be that an album about your road trip to different quilting stores would have different fields from an album about a quilt you made. This got very complicated very quickly, and had to be dropped. What I really, really want to get to is information about patterns i...
