Quilt Impressions

A mother and daughter's assorted workings in quilts. Thursday, August 10, 2006. What I've been up to. I've been having fun sewing lately. I made a skirt last week: M4970. It turned out well. The seam over the zipper isn't as perfect as I would like it to be, but for only my second zipper, I'm not complaining. Each tier has an unfinished seam, and since I haven't washed it yet I didn't bother with the pictures. I started a new block of the month from the LJ Community: Block of the Month. Her first project...

Quilt Impressions: Baby Cowgirl Quilt

http://quiltimpressions.blogspot.com/2006/06/baby-cowgirl-quilt.html

A mother and daughter's assorted workings in quilts. Tuesday, June 27, 2006. I finished another quilt top! The pattern for this quilt comes from the most excellent book, More Quilts for Baby: Easy as ABC. By Ursula Reikes. If I had the money, I'd buy the whole series of these books, because they are each full of really fun and easy quilt patterns. I'll think I'll probably tie this quilt. I already have the flannel for the back. Posted by LNLisa at 7:43 PM. Snow White and Rose Red. Finished Top, YAY!

Quilt Impressions: June 2006

http://quiltimpressions.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html

A mother and daughter's assorted workings in quilts. Wednesday, June 28, 2006. You may have your kitties, puppies, hamsters, or pets of other species, but for me, only one pet will do. I pet and stroke them, and say, "so soft! I coo at them, "Ooh, aren't you so pretty? Now what am I going to do with you? And I smile and hold them. I just love my pets! Here's an extra picture for scale. That's a highlighter btw.). Posted by LNLisa at 12:33 PM. Tuesday, June 27, 2006. I finished another quilt top! This pat...

Quilt Impressions: Snow White and Rose Red

http://quiltimpressions.blogspot.com/2006/06/snow-white-and-rose-red.html

A mother and daughter's assorted workings in quilts. Friday, June 23, 2006. Snow White and Rose Red. This quilt was created through a round robin quilting group. In a round robin quilting group each member begins a quilt, then passes it onto each of the other group members in turn. Each group member adds a border onto the quilt. There were six of us in my group, so my quilt has five borders, and our group created six quilts. Posted by LNLisa at 10:36 AM. Second Try at the Picture. Finished Top, YAY!

Quilt Impressions: October 2005

http://quiltimpressions.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html

A mother and daughter's assorted workings in quilts. Monday, October 31, 2005. I made this quilt a few years ago. I think I had planned to make a quilt for every season? I must have been feeling very optimistic! The basic design, scarecrow w/ moon and sign, came from a Microsoft clipart. Mom quilted it for me. I like the effect of the orange thread on the navy blue background. It gives the quilt an eerie quality. I love this fabric! Then, all I would need is a bank account to match! When I visited mom's ...

Beautiful and unique quilt creations by Shaz. Bed quilts, lap quilts, baby quilts, quilted pillows, quilted wall hangings. you get the idea! Most things are one of a kind. If more than OOAK, it will be noted as few of a kind . All items are designed and made by me and will reflect my artistic sense. If I make use of a traditional or commercial pattern I will say so. Quiltin4Fun's Blog

Friday, February 19, 2016. Welcome to my New Website. As many of you have noticed I have a new website. My previous host was sold and the new providers didn't offer me all of the options I wished to have; so I had to find a new place to host my store. I hope you all like the new look and I will be adding new items over the next few weeks. I am getting used to the new interface but I am asking for your patience on this as things are different and I am still learning. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
