In My Free Time: Froglette's Finished Quilt

http://www.quiltingfreetime.blogspot.com/2010/02/froglettes-finished-quilt.html

In My Free Time. Saturday, February 27, 2010. So I finished Frogl. Ette's quilt (my niece) just before I went to see her at Thanksgiving. When I went to visit at Christmas I finally got to take some pictures of the finished quilt. Here they are. This shows the front and back of the quilt. Here's a picture of the front. Grandma embroidered Froglette's name on the bottom right corner. The next project that I am working on is a quilt for Mom. I will hopefully take some pictures tomorrow to post.

In My Free Time. Monday, August 24, 2009. Tadpole's Quilt- 2" border with 7 rows of 7-5"x5" squares. Wednesday, August 5, 2009. I am even more excited to start on my next quilt and even have a third on the list for Mom. So I have been working on lots of ideas for Tadpole's (my future niece or nephew) quilt. I have started sketching patterns and have found the cutest baby elephant applique. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

In My Free Time: October 2009

http://www.quiltingfreetime.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

In My Free Time. Thursday, October 22, 2009. So last weekend I got the border cut out and sewn on. I am one step closer to a finished quilt! Here is what the border looks like attached. The next step is to cut out the flannel backing and batting. I hope that this weekend I will be able to get it all cut out and maybe even pieced together! I am getting very excited to meet my future niece or nephew :). Tuesday, October 6, 2009. A better picture of the quilt squares not pieced. Monday, October 5, 2009.

Stuck in the Middle: 04.15.2010

http://stuckmiddle.blogspot.com/2010_04_15_archive.html

Stuck in the Middle. See what happens when you move two life-long coasters into the middle. We sat outside for a while in the shade Tuesday night. As you can see, Froglette had a great time. Our neighbor and his dog joined us for a while which gave Froglette plenty of things to look at. This girl likes being outside! I got this new wrap to wear her in while walking. It's a woven wrap so it has less stretch than the Moby (the orange one). Our next thing to try is to wear her on my back! Links to this post.

Stuck in the Middle: 10.06.2011

http://stuckmiddle.blogspot.com/2011_10_06_archive.html

Stuck in the Middle. See what happens when you move two life-long coasters into the middle. Well, as is expected around these parts, life got in the way with potty learning. Plus, school was not super enthusiastic about the whole idea and that coupled with our own hectic few months led to us backing off. She still used the potty quite a bit and often wore big girl panties on the weekends, but we didn't keep pushing school to try it much during the day. Only one accident on Wednesday! We unfortunately hav...

Stuck in the Middle: Knee high

http://stuckmiddle.blogspot.com/2010/07/knee-high.html

Stuck in the Middle. See what happens when you move two life-long coasters into the middle. By the fourth of July. We hear from our corn geneticist neighbor that this doesn't apply to corn any longer here (it better be much higher than your knee! But we were pleased to see that our own little corn is more than knee high! Too cute for words. Happy Birthday. 05 July, 2010 19:19. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Miles (r.i.p.). Stuck in the Middle: Happy 15th months!

http://stuckmiddle.blogspot.com/2011/02/happy-15th-months.html

Stuck in the Middle. See what happens when you move two life-long coasters into the middle. Whoops, so we neglected the blog here for a few (many) months. Sorry about that! Life just got in the way and we were busy playing and singing and running around like maniacs. But, blogging is back! Today is the little girl's 15th month birthday. I can't believe how big she is! It seems like just the other day she was nestled in her little plastic box at the hospital. The chickadee also has 6 (6! We have some adve...

Stuck in the Middle. See what happens when you move two life-long coasters into the middle. Potty like it's 1999. Well, the Froglette seems to think it's time for Adventures in Potty Land! We bought a potty for her a while ago on a whim, but it was mostly "decoration". She loved to use it as a step stool and sat from time to time for fun. But, on Sunday, we were talking with Aunt K and she was sitting on the potty and she peed! We're not in a rush, but I don't want to get in her way either. We are tr...

Stuck in the Middle: Rested

http://stuckmiddle.blogspot.com/2011/02/rested.html

Stuck in the Middle. See what happens when you move two life-long coasters into the middle. It's amazing how much of it difference it makes to get consecutive hours of sleeping at night. Tuesday and Wednesday nights (both nights) Froglette managed to not wake up at all until after 5 am. And on Wednesday morning, she even went back to sleep after PEter brought her in for her morning snuggle/nursing. He eventually had to wake her up to get ready for school - amazing! PEter read her Nini Here and There.

Stuck in the Middle. See what happens when you move two life-long coasters into the middle. Phil - 5/3/1942 to 5/24/2006. Happy Birthday today Dad. I was laughing so hard remembering that story. I'm also almost done with coursework for my PhD. I promised you I would - and although for a time I wasn't sure I could do it - I'm getting closer and closer. You'd still be a bit puzzled I imagine, but what I'm doing now would be so much easier to explain! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Dumber f...
