A view from my window. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Long Time, No Write. Well, it's been over a month since I last posted. So many things have happened. We had our 26th anniversary the end of April and went out to dinner at a nice restaurant near the school. It's called Moran's and we had eaten there when we first came to check out the school in Feb '09. We split a crabcake and had shepherd's pie. Very good. Afterwards caught a taxi and we came home. They befriended us when we came to GTS in Feb 'o9 for a visit and have been friends since. June 4, 2010 at 9:36 PM. Youll have to post a new picture from your 5th floor window. A view from my window. Monday, April 12, 2010. Peaches and Dreams quilt which I took in a class along with Jamie. In LA last month. I'm on border 6 and there are 8 borders. It's a neat quilt and I did it in my favorite color - orange. But I wanted to play with some other fabric. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. http://quiltinginnyc.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

A view from my window. Friday, June 11, 2010. I had a mango sorbet drink - yumm. Howard and I decided we didn't want to climb onto the ships for a tour and would come back another time for a tour of the museum so caught a taxi home and took naps. Well, the rest of the days between then and now have been taken up with physical therapy, eye dr and dentist appointments. And packing. We are moving on up - to the 5th floor - I'll finally have a room for my "stuff" and a design wall. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Quilting In My Sleep

Quilting In My Sleep. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Row by Row and more. I've been collecting row by row patterns, kits and plates via fellow swappers, family and friends. I've started on the first two. The umbrellas are fused but still need to be stitched down. And I've gotten the sky portion of my heron vertical row and now need to get the water done. The heron is ready to be placed as soon as the background is complete. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Monday, J...

Lifes Pieces of Scraps Make a Quilt

Lifes Pieces of Scraps Make a Quilt. Sunday, November 15, 2009. I started working on some candle mats for Christmas gifts. They are very easy to make and go together really fast. If I had no interruptions I could get them all done in a couple of days. Here. I admire the crumb blocks that a friend of mine makes. I have enough scraps to keep me busy on those for awhile so I want to give it a try. Maybe make some small items like placemats.hotpads .coasters.potholders and blah! You get the picture. Until ne...
