Softboxes – LED Flexi Panel – Richard & Caroline's Blog

http://brown-family.org.uk/softboxes-led-flexi-panel

Richard and Caroline's Blog. Family, Photography and other misc news. Softboxes – LED Flexi Panel. I was reading Terry White’s website this weekend and caught this review of a new product by Westcott, an LED flexible light. Similar to a small softbox but flexible, it looks like a cool and useful product. May 5, 2015. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Your email address will not be published. Required fields are marked *. Sharpness and getting the shot – Richard & Caroline's Blog

http://brown-family.org.uk/sharpness-and-getting-the-shot

Richard and Caroline's Blog. Family, Photography and other misc news. Sharpness and getting the shot. Last week I quoted Henri Cartier-Bresson who said that “Sharpness is a bourgeois concept”. Well this past week I have been practicing my street photography and zone focusing. Basically pre-focusing manually and then taking the shot as soon as the scene develops. This can be for me a very hit and miss affair, but I am getting better. So maybe Henri Cartier-Bresson was right? May 4, 2015. April 30, 2015.

Our Wedding Day – Richard & Caroline's Blog

http://brown-family.org.uk/our-wedding-day

Richard and Caroline's Blog. Family, Photography and other misc news. Everyone dreams of the perfect wedding, walking down the aisle, the perfect dress, the bride like a princess. Well ours was not quite like that but it was as close to perfect as we could hope for. A beautiful bright and sunny September day at the wonderful location of Branston Hall. It was a simple wedding with just a few close friends and family. A simple service, followed by a fine meal. What more could you want. Photo of the Month.

Instructions and software – Richard & Caroline's Blog

http://brown-family.org.uk/instructions-and-software

Richard and Caroline's Blog. Family, Photography and other misc news. Over the last few year computer and computer accessory companies have been getting better. Clearer instructions and simpler more straight forward software. Epson printers have for many years been excellent products but with poor instructions. Of late and certainly with my Epson 3880 they were much better but it seems the scanner department still have some way to come. Lots of bits of paper but no real single simple setup guide.

http://brown-family.org.uk/epson-v850-pro-has-arrived

Richard and Caroline's Blog. Family, Photography and other misc news. Epson V850 Pro has arrived. It seems a long time since the Photography Show at the NEC in Birmingham. While there I got a great deal on the new Epson V850 Pro Scanner. While reviewers have had the scanner in their hands since the end of last year it’s been impossible to get in store. I was warned that it was likely to be the 1st June before I would get mine. Well this Monday direct from the importers it arrived. May 11, 2015.

Spring has really Sprung – Chickens in the Garden – Richard & Caroline's Blog

http://brown-family.org.uk/spring-has-really-sprung-chickens-in-the-garden

Richard and Caroline's Blog. Family, Photography and other misc news. Spring has really Sprung – Chickens in the Garden. Spring really seems to be bursting ahead. Our plants are growing well, we have a number of nests in the garden and the chickens are now enjoying being let out to roam in the later week day evenings now that the nights are getting lighter. The chickens are moulting at the moment and are definitely not looking at there best but they like being let out while we are there to stand guard.
