http://jillinspired.blogspot.com/2011/05/sew-away-your-anxiety.html
Sew Inspired . Sonnets. Saturday, May 28, 2011. Sew Away Your Anxiety. As we have met many fighting cancer (and especially a large number wrangling with breast cancer), I am always in awe at how they pull together their emotional resources to find a way to bring healing in some part of their life. So many have told me that they sew to reduce their anxiety and that when they are not well enough, the inability to sew brings great sadness to them. As I was machine quilting the pieces to be taken to Internat...

Break the Cycle: Coming to the end of 2013
http://breakthecycle4them.blogspot.com/2013/12/coming-to-end-of-2013.html
Breaking the Cycle of Unhealthy Living for my Family. Friday, December 6, 2013. Coming to the end of 2013. Wow - this year went by fast. My oldest is graduating in summer next year . how the heck did that happen? I didn't get nearly as much sewing and quilting as I wanted. I didn't get to go on any retreats with my friends. I didn't even get much of a vacation with my kids - just a week in Michigan, which was more than fun, but more for my Dad than for me or the kids. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Quilts, Knits and Words from Graywood Designs. Monday, August 16, 2010. Cover Project From Our New Book. The cover table runner is named "Off The Table" because we know that many quilters will use it as a wall quilt. This design uses 16 batik fat quarters and the Rail Fence block. It is stunning photographed against the dark wood of my grandmother's recently restored dining table. Where will you display your "Off The Table" runner when you've finished this project? Wednesday, August 4, 2010. I'll write m...

http://breakthecycle4them.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Breaking the Cycle of Unhealthy Living for my Family. Friday, April 12, 2013. Another week went by - and get this - I went to yet another spa! I am a secret shopper, and one of my assignments this week was a shop at a casino. While it wasn't as grand as the Red Door Spa last time, it was nice to get away from the kids for an evening. While the hubster and I again didn't have dinner together, we did spend the morning together ordering room service and having breakfast in bed! Links to this post. It's more...

Breaking the Cycle of Unhealthy Living for my Family. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. It's been a great year. I didn't lose the weight I wanted, and we had some very rough patches as a family, but we made it through, lots of tears might have been shed, but we are still together as a family, and still working it out. So good-bye to 2013. 2014 is going to be great - and I'm going to live every single minute of it! Links to this post. Sunday, December 8, 2013. 40 Minute Hamburger Buns. 1/3 cup vegetable oil.
