A Quilting Reader's Garden: June 2015

http://quiltingreadersgarden.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html

A Quilting Readers Garden - Sharing my passions: Faith, family, quilting, gardening and friends. No Applique This Tuesday. Lily is here and we've been having fun, hanging out, doing things together and playing board games. It's been too hot to go out for long. For example, it was 101 degrees at 12:30 today, and that wasn't the high. And she's only five years, 2 months old! Another sewist in the family. Now Deanna, if you read this, don't let on. She want's it to be a surprise. She's so happy doing it!

http://quiltingreadersgarden.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

A Quilting Readers Garden - Sharing my passions: Faith, family, quilting, gardening and friends. This is the Tuesday of Holy Week which started with Palm Sunday. I will not be on the NET much for the next 7 days as we gather each day to commemorate the Passion of our Lord. Today I spent a bit of time prepping the buds for my Benjamin Briggs block. Just have to finish one more piece and I'll be ready to fuse the block. Back to mediating on the Scripture passages before Holy Thursday. Links to this post.

Liniecat @ Large: March 2015

http://liniecat.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Monday, 30 March 2015. Work stuff, cats and grandkids! Well no, this cute cushion was in a charity shop and took my eye, though I didn't buy it, but I did think it was a fun pattern idea. Now first there was this mod roc'd balloon at work. Which became this turnip, though it does look like an oversized raddish really! Our 'The Enormous Turnip' storysack had gone missing, though it never did have a big turnip in it, so I decided to remake it for work. I also made up a tactile book to include in our Stone ...

Monday, 10 August 2015. A christening and a holiday break. I have some issues with my laptop, its dying basically and only works with a fan permanently aimed at it, which is why I have been tardy at posting! I really must buy another one - or work out how to use the Ipad as successfully for blogging : ). I am enjoying the summer break from work, the first times I have been off in school holidays since my kids were at school and much younger. Sadly I am half way through already! In fact I have moved on fr...

Quilting Ranny

Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Just like my earlier post for the Vasanti cleanser in which I spoke about not wearing make-up very often, I also (shame on me), do not wear sunscreen as it is just to heavy and greasy feeling to me. I also am a firm believer in Oil of Olay products. However, last week when receiving my very first Birchbox . I received a sunscreen/moisturizer called Supergoop City Sunscreen Serum. I know I will be setting aside some of my budget to purchase this product as well. Once again I stat...
