Quilting With Kim

A quilting and crafting journal. Monday, August 3, 2015. Eight finishes for July. I did a lot of block sewing in July so hopefully they will become quilt tops in the not so distant future. Here are some of my finishes some I can't show as they are for swaps. How quickly has this month gone but bring on August which means Hello Darling will be arriving soon. I have preordered quite a bit and I have some plans for it. Lucky for me I am having holidays in early September and plan to do lots of sewing. Final...

http://www.quiltingwithkim.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html

A quilting and crafting journal. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Giving Christmas in July. I just loved making Christmas gifts for the Christmas in July Swap. My partner was Kaylee and I had a bit of a red and white theme going without realising it until the end. All wrapped ready to post. All the gifts I made. Roly Poly Santas designed by the very talented Gail Pan and all fabrics are from my stash. Until next time happy sewing. Labels: Christmas in July. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Now here they are all opened.

Quilting With Kim: September 2014

http://www.quiltingwithkim.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

A quilting and crafting journal. Sunday, September 28, 2014. Something Finished Something New. This week I had a finish my City Blocks quilt. Sorry about the box in the corner but I couldn't crop it out without losing part of the quilt. Just love how it turned out so girly. Now you will need to sit down as I don't want to shock you but I am not using Bonnie and Camille fabrics even though the pattern used Scrumptious. I know you are all shocked but what is life without some surprises. I have never done a...

Quilting With Kim: April 2015

http://www.quiltingwithkim.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

A quilting and crafting journal. Sunday, April 26, 2015. Recently Camille Roskelley released some new patterns one called Lollies which I just had to make. I had a spare Scrumptious layer cake which I had bought for a project but ending up using different fabric so I have had some fun making up the blocks from my all time favourite fabric. Here are some of the blocks. The Aqua is my favourite. This is part of the border. Ta da a quilt top. I wonder how long I can keep it this tidy. Sunday, April 12, 2015.

Friday Night Sew In…December 6th. Last night I got a lot done. . I put the binding on the quilt for our bed. Started hand sewing the back. I also pulled some winter themed prints and pieced a top to a new quilt top for the Living room. Nothing is better than a pile of scraps for a new quilt later. Thanks for stopping by.
