Where I Buy Supplies. Larr; Doll Quilt. October 23, 2012. I prefer to have some type of closure on my bags so I thought a recessed zipper would be neat. I didn’t actually try one out until my coworker said that she wanted a basic reversible tote. But with a zipper. You probably remember that I attempted it a few times before coming up with something that I was satisfied with. See the attempts here. Outside Pieces (2): 13 1/2 x 14. Straps (2): 4 x 22. Zip Ends (2): 4 x 3. Zip Casing (4): 11 1/2 x 1 1/2.

Bee In QuiltsLand: grudnia 2014
http://beeinquiltsland.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Drop me a Line. A cuppa and a catch up. Tea craft = bliss. September 28, 2013. Of hand knit socks…. Finished just in time for summer! Started way back when. Then put away for a while so I could recover from the trauma of attempting to turn heels while remembering to breathe at the same time. What a journey and huge learning curve this little pair have been! Will I venture into sock knitting again? Project notes over on Ravelry. Pattern from this book. Comments… read them below or add one. Nova they are s...

http://canadianabroad-susan.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Great Blogs to Read. Monday, 26 January 2015. Another Friend. Another Birthday. Another Pouch. The orders keep coming in for pouches in this household. This time it was Helen for one of her friends. The colours requested were pink and grey. Not a light grey, mind you. Nor a dark grey. A medium grey, please and thank you. Of course I had to add a little extra, with some perle cotton. The pouch has received full fledged approval from the eldest child. Job well done then, thank goodness. But this is better ...

http://canadianabroad-susan.blogspot.com/2015/05/friends-and-stuff.html
Great Blogs to Read. Monday, 18 May 2015. Friends, And Stuff. On Saturday I went up to Lincolnshire to Di's house for a wee Brit Bee get together. Only six of us could make it, but as always with this group any and all gatherings are joyful, laughter filled, and food is consumed. Saturday was no exception. These quilts will be presented to Terri's daughters in July at her memorial service. It was the least we could do in her memory. It never fails me how amazing it is to be in this group of such talented...

Canadian Abroad: There's A Right Way Of Doing Things...
http://canadianabroad-susan.blogspot.com/2015/08/there-right-way-of-doing-things.html
Great Blogs to Read. Wednesday, 5 August 2015. Theres A Right Way Of Doing Things. And there's a wrong way. The photo below will demonstrate both. My face must have been a treat when I got the pouch almost finished and realised I had the zip pull on the inside of the pouch. After verbally lambasting myself, I got out the seam ripper and made it good. The verbal lambast was a good one though. Now I have a finished pouch that is useable. 5 August 2015 at 16:06. Great Blogs to Read. Friday, 28 November 2014. I was a little at a loss of what to do as an extra for my #igminiswap partner, but then I went back and read her brief and she mentioned loving Christmas so I decided to do a wee seasonal hoop. Then I got out the tissue paper and did a version of my usual inept wrapping. (I really wish I was one of these people who could do pretty parcels, but I am so not! Thursday, 27 November 2014.
