Come along with me as we visit subjects of interest to Quilters. Laquo; Early Days. Have a desire to go south after our winter? Inspired by a gift of the multi-colored batik from my friend Daryl C. this is an original design. I had just become interested in paper piecing and designed the baskets. The colors in this batik combined with the dusty pink and the turquoise made this experiment a keeper. I hand quilted it in brown thread.
