Bedtime Ritual – quiltpieces

Christian, family, kids, marriage, parenthood. My husband and I have a bed time ritual with our boys. We usually take turns to tuck them in but before they sleep, we talk to them for a bit and chat about different things, usually about our childhoods before praying with them and saying goodnight. For some reason, they love hearing about what we were like or what we did as children. It’s a good thing to stop and think about, isn’t it? Why would Jesus do that? July 29, 2015. Of material from all sorts of things like her childrens’ baby blankets, their scout badges, her favorite dresses that have worn out. She carefully and lovingly saved all those momentos to piece.
