Threadbenders: May 2013
http://threadbenders.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 24, 2013. It really is ridiculous how life can get in the way of living. Since November I sprained my right ankle and broke my left ankle in 2 places. (All at the same time.) The doctor says it will never heal properly. Oh, well. I have fibro, so I know pain already. Was eating canned peaches in February, and broke both of my front teeth. Lots of pain meds, and 2 crowns. Blehh! I'm waiting to see what part of me falls off next! Like I said, it keeps things in perspective. 2 yummy Cathedral Wi...

Threadbenders: June 2012
http://threadbenders.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 28, 2012. I have a great dentist, but I hate going to the dentist. It's a shame, because I have brittle teeth. A genetic thing. I brush and floss, and they still crack. Yesterday I got to go in for the third crown on one of my molars. I went to an oral surgeon and he said that the one on there was the wrong size for the tooth! It was put on by the dentist I had in Minnesota. I had it on there for almost 5 years! Queen of the exclamation point! Saturday, June 16, 2012. Monday, June 11, 2012.

The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf: Berry Picking Party
http://thesecretlifeofmrsmeatloaf.blogspot.com/2015/05/berry-picking-party.html
The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf. Gallery of Show Quilts. Gallery of Customer Quilts. Sunday, May 31, 2015. It's amazing to me that most customers hand over their tops and tell me, 'Do whatever you think looks best'. Very few give me any kind of specific instructions. When Merilyn gave me her cute embroidered top she knew what she wanted and what she didn't want. I know it is a compliment that my customers trust me but I like a customer that knows what she wants! Carole @ From My Carolina Home. The conte...

The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf. Gallery of Show Quilts. Gallery of Customer Quilts. Saturday, August 22, 2015. Margo wanted custom quilting and for me to do whatever I wanted. That's fun when it's such a cute quilt! Cecelia waited a long time for me to get to her humongous quilt! This will be a shop sample for her quilt shop in western Kansas. I thought this quilt needed some curves. Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Prairie Quilt Guild Opportunity Quilt. The drawing for the quilt will be at our show next June.

The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf: July 2014
http://thesecretlifeofmrsmeatloaf.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf. Gallery of Show Quilts. Gallery of Customer Quilts. Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Another quilt for Betty - hexies this time. Betty said she made it all from scraps except for the backing. This was quilted using a cotton batt which doesn't have much loft so I used grey thread in the border so the quilting would show. Of course it is all hand stitched and she even cut out the paper foundations by hand. She says she likes to keep her hands busy! Friday, July 18, 2014. If you hav...

The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf: December 2014
http://thesecretlifeofmrsmeatloaf.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf. Gallery of Show Quilts. Gallery of Customer Quilts. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. A burst of sunshine. This quilt is a burst of sunshine in all the gloomy winter weather! Karlisa is new to quilting and this is one of her first quilts - she did such excellent work! She used lots of different gold and brown fabrics, many contributed by her small group. Pretty impressive for a first quilt! Sunday, December 14, 2014. This is Evie's applique quilt which she did a beautiful job ...

The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf: Oops, I missed July somehow

The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf. Gallery of Show Quilts. Gallery of Customer Quilts. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Oops, I missed July somehow. I seem to have missed July. I've been working on a few projects that I can't post pictures of yet: my guild's Opportunity quilt and a quilt of my own but I do have a few things to post. She was very ambitious and also had me quilt two matching pillow shams and two matching window treatments. She will have a very Christmassy bedroom this year! Here's another pretty ap...

The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf: January 2015
http://thesecretlifeofmrsmeatloaf.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf. Gallery of Show Quilts. Gallery of Customer Quilts. Saturday, January 31, 2015. This is Patty's cute sampler quilt, appropriate with Valentine's Day coming up. In the blocks I tried a something like the feathered medallion I saw in an article by Sue Heinz from the January/February issue of Machine Quilting Unlimited . This is something I will try again. It's a good article and I will probably end up ordering her Circleliner Tool. Saturday, January 24, 2015. Used on a bed.

The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf: Beating the heat
http://thesecretlifeofmrsmeatloaf.blogspot.com/2015/06/beating-heat.html
The Secret Life of Mrs. Meatloaf. Gallery of Show Quilts. Gallery of Customer Quilts. Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Joanne made this from a Judy Niemeyer pattern - what a great way to use lots of batiks! I put feathers along one side of the spikes and now from a distance they look like unicorn horns. Marsha made this cute Rudolph Christmas quilt for her husband, whose name (or maybe it was his middle name) is Rudolph. I'm absolutely sure her husband does not have a glowing red nose. As I head out to celebrate Independence Day with food and fireworks I pause to think (. I know, scary, right. I find I am more dependent than when I was a dependent! First and foremost I depend on God to open my eyes and ears. Help with my basic care. Supply of my basic needs. Technology to get out of the house. Ode To My Wife the Quilter : Poem.
