What's done in love is done well." - Van Gogh. Monday, March 29, 2010. The other day I made another fleece blanket for Baby Jay- my grandson. He's 3 months old now and weighs over 12 lbs! Don't you just want to pinch these cheeks? And check out those blue eyes too! He reminds me so much of his mom when she was this age. I'm headed up to the "country" aka Utah to see this cute little "country" baby soon. So this is fleece blanket #3 for him. Can a baby have too many blankets? Now, get back to work Grandma!

Except I would have to say, "If your neighbor brings you lemons, make lemonade.and lots of it.". Here's a great recipe I got from an episode of Barefoot Contessa. 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (5 to 6 lemons). 3/4 cup superfine sugar. 1 cup crushed ice. We're all set for summer! Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Thats right, I turned the big 21. Quite the eventful day, I worked for a few hours, hung out with lots of family and friends. Had a bbq and a little bonfire. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. So before I left for Boise I got my nephew drinking Mt. Dew. Everytime I would open one he would go get two straws and bring them to me and this is what we would do. Well, it has been a long time since I have posted anything, so I thought I should take some time today to update my blog. I must admit blogging is harder than I thought it was going to be. I love reading other people's blogs, but find it hard to write about my own life. I have finally found a new job, and started on December 1st. I love it! Needless to say, it has been a big adjustment for my family, but it is well worth it.
