Monday, August 3, 2015. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Having finished 12 squares with wavy edges, I now understand why the edges were wavy. I have to rework those 12 squares. I've reworked three (outsides only) and have now made one correctly from the start. Don't produce wavy results, but I wanted 6 1/2 inch squares, so I've had to extend most of them, and that's where I went wrong. Monday, July 27, 2015. Yarn basket from a gleefulthings pattern. Using scraps of bulky yarn. Friday, July 24, 2015. I first saw ...

Monday, August 10, 2015. To see what others are working on go to Judy's blog here. On my wall is this. The pattern is the small version of Cindy Lou Who. From another BiTE OF SCHNiBBLES 23 quilts from 5" or 10" squares. I am using Honey Sweet by Moda charms packs with a Bella solid charm pack. This will be about 35 inches when finished. I may add another or a wider border to make it a little bigger for a baby quilt. I don't normally buy charm packs, but I loved this one. Monday, August 3, 2015. These are...

Quilty doings

How it all happened. Sunday, 22 May 2016. Its been a busy six weeks since my last post, with the most ridiculously busy time at the day job, but today I finally sat down and put the binding on my "Spring's Whisper" quilt. It's only a little lap quilt, at 40 inches square, so it was quick to finish and will be easy to find a little home for somewhere. I used the fabrics in the ochre, grey and turquoise but they are also available in pink from Hawthorn Fabrics. Sunday, May 22, 2016. Sunday, 20 March 2016.

Originally, I was planning to do something kinda like this. I had made all the yellow squares 1/2 inch smaller than the other squares. So&#46...
