Women's City Club. The Women’s City Club. Is located on a four acre tract of land at 1550 Maine in Quincy, Illinois. Situated in the heart of Quincy’s Historic District, the Women’s City Club’s is an important part of the District. The Women’s City Club is housed in the Lorenzo Bull House which is a splendid Italianate structure dating from the 1850s. The Quincy Civic Music Association is an all-volunteer, non-profit civic organization that has been producing seasons of concerts by professional performers and companies since 1927. All our ticket proceeds and grant and gift money goes into these concerts. Despite our modest ticket prices, we have brought world-class performers to Quincy such as the Vienna Choir Boys, Moscow State Radio Orchestra, The Five Browns, and the Russian National Ballet.
