And I just have to mention the amazingly creative (and. Every girl should receive a gift in "a little blue box". Quinn's heart necklace from Tiffany's, complete in that very special box :). linzer, party of five: Niemann-Pick Type A
http://www.teamlinzer.com/p/niemann-pick.html
There is very little information available on Niemann-Pick Disease, Type A. And perhaps due to that very fact, much of the information that is available is inaccurate or misleading. The incidence rate of NPA is 1:250,000". There actually is no known incidence rate because. In New Zealand, the leading Niemann-Pick specialist has never come across an NPA case there, prior to treating Amber Jelsma (in fact, there have been no other known cases in Australasia) and has seen 1 adult with NPB. According to the ...

linzer, party of five: Goodbye to The Best Year of My Life
http://www.teamlinzer.com/2013/12/goodbye-to-best-year-of-my-life.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Goodbye to The Best Year of My Life. 2013 A year that will live in infamy, no doubt. And yet I am having a tremendously hard time letting it go. Probably because while the worst thing that we could possibly endure happened on August 9th, the best thing that we could possibly hope for happened for the preceding 221 days of the same year. Our family was complete, and Quinn was our shining star. Summertime pops on the stoop. So proud of their platter for daddy's father's day gift.

linzer, party of five: Go
http://www.teamlinzer.com/2014/05/go.html
Thursday, May 1, 2014. Since the moment Quinn died, I have had an insatiable need to be outside, and an unquenchable thirst to just Go. I spent much of Quinn's life in a sedentary state, as I basically bore another appendage (cute as she was) by the name of Quinn. When I wasn't carrying her, I was often holding her in her power hour. When she died, that was the most jarring change - this idea that I could do . whatever. And I can. Go. I abandoned this blog for the most part during the course of my treatm...

linzer, party of five: November 2013
http://www.teamlinzer.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 22, 2013. We have been the recipients of generosity untold over the past 18 months. One of the greatest gifts we've been given - besides the almost 15 months we had with Quinn - was her lasting image. While iPhones and Instagram work wonders, nothing takes the place of a professional photographer and we were lucky enough to be offered the time and talents of a veritable consortium. Jen of Lightful Photography. Angela of Angela Marshall Photography. Lori of AvaJack Photography. November 2...

linzer, party of five: Eleven Months
http://www.teamlinzer.com/2013/04/eleven-months.html
Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Quinn recently turned 11 months. Eleven months! With the boys I remember thinking wow, that really went fast - how exciting! With Quinn I keep thinking wow, that really went fast - this sucks. Happy birthday kisses from Colin 3. But not to Quinn. Nope - in true Quinn fashion, she did up her 11 month birthday in style. We celebrated with not one, not two, but three. It's right - I counted twice to make sure I had the correct number of 'greats'! The table is set. Having so much fun!

linzer, party of five: A Benefit for Quinn
http://www.teamlinzer.com/2013/01/a-benefit-for-quinn.html
Thursday, January 24, 2013. A Benefit for Quinn. Quinn has had an incredibly busy January - including sipping Tea at the Plaza, enjoying her first mani / pedi, hosting her first slumber party and just today, undergoing her first (and only) surgery for placement of a g-tube and a Nissen fundoplication. I am happy to report that she is 'resting' comfortably right now, having been strong enough to bypass PICU entirely, being placed directly into a regular room post-op. The world's best neighbors. That's the...
