Tuesday, July 14, 2015. End of the school year. End of the year piano recital at their teacher's house. They did a great job this year with piano. They all played in the district festival and got I's and great scores on theory (Will got over a 90%). So that means they will play in the fall statewide festival, probably in October. Monday, July 28, 2014. An Italian pizza birthday party. We had an Italian pizza party for the kids' 8 and 1/2 birthday party this year. We had cupcakes and cookies that looked like pizza, pizza, salad and breadsticks, of course! Yummy dinner, kids played outside and it was gorgeous weather outside so we were able to hang outside and chat. The kids had a fun time and it's always nice to have the family together! Tuesday, August 12, 2014. A tour of Memorial Stadium. Anyway, they got to run on the field, and see the trophies and everything. It was a fun little trip - although I wish I had gone with them! Ready, Set, Go! With the Harper triplets - Greyson, Ian and Hudson. They started kindergarten at the same school. I'm good friends with their mom, Amanda. Look really close in the background. Monday, January 20, 2014. Sorry for such a long time between posts - sorry! Here is some news about our new year so far! We spent one whirlwind day after Christmas and went to both Superior and Arapahoe to see the extended sides of the family. Thursday, November 27, 2014. On a whim, Brian and I got tickets to the Rockettes Christmas show in Omaha last Saturday, the 22nd. It was a morning show, so we got up and drove up to the Orpheum. It was a fun show with lots of dancing, singing and holiday fun! The kids really liked it. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Happy 9th Birthday party. We had a red, white and blue party for the kids this June. We had an all-American hot dog bar, with brownie sundaes and root beer floats (Will's favorite! All the aunt, uncles, grandparents, and cousins came. Saturday, December 27, 2014. Thanksgiving - sorry this took me so long! Here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving at the Niebuhrs house this year. We actually didn't celebrate any Thanksgivings on the actual day. We ended up staying home and having a "do nothing" day. I made brunch, everyone played then we ate pizza and watched movies in the evening! So, after about a week they were finally all healthy again and (knock on wood) we've been healthy since even when everyone around us hasn't! Will - age 9.

Saturday, May 31, 2014. Piano Recital - from April 27th! Here are the videos from very long ago (April 27th to be exact) of my spring piano recital. I'm sorry it's taken me so long - I couldn't get the video camera to download correctly! Xander got a II and Grace got a II-, we think. Those are also pretty good scores. I was proud of them.
